I've finally found a place that has my favorite "salted" bagels and they were really great. I ordered on-line and picked up the next day when the order was ready. The store is small so use your patience, you will get your order. The staff seems pretty nice, but I didn't have much interaction will all members of the staff.

Great bagel sandwich the female cashier was very friendly however the guy name Austin who was the cashier at first seemed frustrated almost like he didn't want to be there, huffed & slapped the counter in frustration due to my large order..I will return but I hope Austin finds happiness even if it's not there.
I tried this place because my go to store was closed.The name is not what you get. These bagels are not bad and they are big. If you are not familiar with a true NY bagel you may walk away without judgment. However, these bagels are only proofed and not boiled. I can not speak about the overnight process to prepare for baking but they do not taste like a NY bagel. Which they are not.The bagel is large and you get a lot of bacon making the price decent. BUT. The bacon has an after taste I am not fond of. It may be honey bacon or some other ingredients. The bagel lacks the chewyness of a real bagel under the crust. The boiling would have put the yeast in check preventing the fluff inside these bagels.Most people will not know the difference but the bacon issue is a big problem for me and others mentioned this taste with the meats.

This place seems to always mess up my order, i ordered Bacon, egg, extra cheese on a bagel. They charged me for it and gave me 1 slice of cheese, my wife wanted pork roll and egg ONLY… NO cheese…. She got 2 slices of cheese on top and bottom! Glad i ask for it and her none she got a sandwich she didn’t want… and i paid $7 for. I also ordered HOME fries… and i asked if it was cubed potatoes… i was told yes cubed potatoes so i ordered it CRISPY…. They gave me a container full of soggy floppy FRENCH FRIES…. Not Home fries…. All in all the bagels aren’t that good… and them seem to mess up the orders frequently. I would go back more if the peopleWorking here could read the order slips while preparing the food ordered. The woman taking the order did everything right when typing in the order except telling me that the potatoes are cubed… i would have never ordered French fries.

This spot is my bf and I's favorite bagel spot in vb. We've never had problems calling in our order and paying when we get there. I understand Saturday is very busy, so we called in 45 minutes ahead to pick up. When I arrived to pick up my order, the lady behind the counter was rude and unwelcoming and told me I needed to wait in line to pay for my order. The line was out the door and at least a 30 minute wait. We could have been given the courtesy on the phone saying we would have to wait in the line if we placed an order on the phone. We ended up leaving with no food and it was just very frustrating. We won't be back after experiencing that customer service.

Hands down the best bagel outside of New York that I have ever tasted. Soft on the inside, Crisp and Fresh on the outside. They give you plenty of flavorful cream cheese. The egg sandwich is also utterly delicious!!! I love this place.
I ordered the bagel with lox on and everything bagel. So delicious!

You know it's going to be a great day when B is in the grill. I ordered a bacon, egg && mozzarella cheese wrap with Sriracha mayo. It was phenomenal!! I had planned on only eating half && I now have to find something for lunch. Great service from Pat, staff all smiles && polite. Looking forward to my next meal at NY Bagel Cafe!

Only place in virginia Beach that I know of that actually puts CREAM CHEESE on their bagles!!!! Every other place I've been only puts a thin little layer. Pffttt!!!!!! And NY bagel has PORK ROLL!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSS!!
