Great food, fair price. I had the blackened tuna tacos and broccolini, with a slice of key lime pie to go. The generous portion of tuna was well-seasoned and a nice medium rare, and tacos (2) were well-balanced and full of flavor. The broccolini was crisp, and a big enough portion to share. The pie was good- denser than some versions, but tangy in the way a key lime pie should be! I wish the weather had been nice enough to sit outside, but when I asked to sit inside with a view, they gave me the best seat even though I was dining alone. Two thumbs up!

GREAT spot. Excellent service, view, menu, and beer selection. A MUST SEE if you are new to The Beach, a locals favorite!

I have been to Virginia Beach several times but never ate here - glad that I finally did. Went for lunch. While there is outside seating it was a chilly day so I sat inside but had good views of the beach. I had the crabby smash burger. Good tasting with a generous crab patty. It comes with fries but you can substitute hush puppies, which are excellent. Service was friendly and efficient.

Classic Va Beach place right on the VA Beach fishing pier. Great views. We ate during the Boardwalk Christmas light season so we got free Christmas lights. My wife's salmon was excellent. My fried shrimp plate was tasty. Cameron was an excellent server.

Seafood chowder my son had was really good. I had catch of the day - salmon, it was good and fresh but I didn't care for the heavy tomato sauce that drowned the beautiful fish. The location of the restaurant was very nice.

Hubby and I stopped in here while strolling the boardwalk. The first thing I noticed was the odd smell when we opened the door. We were seated promptly but the waitress took a few minutes to greet us. If she had waited one more minute we would have left because of the smell. Anyhoo, we ordered the calamari. It was as bland as can be. I tried dipping it in the cocktail sauce that came with it, but that was equally bland. The seafood chowder was chock full of seafood and hubby liked it. I thought it was a tad salty. The crab dip had an odd texture, and seemed to have more filler (cream cheese???) than crab. All in all, it was not a pleasant experience. I didn't expect a Michelin starred meal but I expected more from a restaurant that literally sits on the pier.

Definitely expensive and touristy but the food is quite good -- crab cake sandwich with minimal filler and soft potato roll was fantastic.

The view was perfect right next to the pier. there is indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for outside for the view. The food was on point, fresh fish, large shrimp, coleslaw and fries. The portions were good size. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff was friendly.

Located right on the beach at the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier. We were there on a chilly, windy day so we sat inside at a window table. They also have outdoor seats with a great view. Smallish rustic place with great views and vibe. The service was friendly and efficient. The fried shrimp was excellent. It includes a generous portion of fries. I ordered a side of slaw which is an additional charge. It was okay, not great. We tried the onion rings and the hush puppies as appetizers. Onion rings were better than hush puppies which were a little bland. For dessert they were out of key lime pie so we tried the gourmet ice cream sandwiches which are served on a plate with whipped cream and a drizzle of syrup. We got the strawberry shortcake and the traditional vanilla ice cream with chocolate sandwich. They were very good.

Ate here last August and everything was so good. The calamari was especially tender. Told everyone when they come to the beach they had to try it. Well we were back and out first evening came for dinner. Nothing was as good. Calamari was tuff. Fish ok and the coleslaw was awful. Was very disappointed after raving to everyone how this food was some of the best and then this year to be so disappointed. Definitely very disappointed. Don't know if we'll try again next year or not. Can't figure how it changed so much. Service and staff were awesome just the food wasn't near as good.

I ate the fried oysters off of menu. Old seawater taste. The appetizer. 1 hour later it was coming out both ends. I was so sick with stomach pains. Ruined my day. 40.00 lunch. 300.00 dollar hotel. I look forward to management response. 400.00 we can call it even. Eat at your own risk.

Had fried oysters. Asked the server how many were included and she replied 8 or 9. Should have been a clue. what came out was a small plate of tiny pieces of oyster pieces that were heavily breaded and way to fried.Service was OK and the smashed burger was poor too. Won't be back
