As the listed venue for the Jeep Fest kick off party the food and service were terrible. Had to get our own menus, staff asked us to order from the overwhelmed bartender, and waited too long for bland food. Don’t waste extended time for your food, it’s not worth it.

We held our High school Reunion here last Saturday night and I can’t say enough about how perfect the venue was. We had 100 attendees, however more could be accommodated. George and his staff know how to put on a successful event. They oversaw all the details of set-up, food displays, DJ assistance and most importantly - superb customer service. Highly recommend!

Customer service is top notch. The hotel itself is older and could use some updates but you can tell that the owners take pride in their establishment. The staff was friendly and courteous. There was often an employee on duty maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby/guest areas. We had a few minor issues but a call down to the front desk had an employee to our room to remedy the situation within minutes. Great location too! Will definitely stay here again.

We wanted a hotel that was oceanfront, and Oceanfront Inn certainly delivered on that front. It was wonderful falling asleep and waking up to the ocean waves breaking on the beach. If you're not particular about cleanliness, noise levels and comfort, then this inn is fine. But for us, the cons heavily outweighed ocean wave melodies. The room did not feel clean. Our sense of uncleanliness was confirmed after finding a used Q-tip and some kind of wrapper on the bathroom floor. There was black mold on the ceiling in the shower, no fan and the tub floor creaked as though it was ready to break through. The beds weren't too bad. We weren't uncomfortable in them. But the air conditioning was really loud. My husband turned it off and then once the heat became unbearable, we could not figure out how to get it going again. So that made sleep broken and restless. Noise levels were high. From the band playing outside until at least 11 pm and fellow guests yelling and talking at loud volumes until 1 am, it was ridiculous. Tried calling front desk twice to get them to quiet them down, but got voicemail each time. No point in leaving a message. If you arrived too late at night, you were unlikely to get a parking spot in the hotel parking lot. You had to go park in their garage across the street. Not terrible but the stairwell was trashed and disgusting. Did not have much interaction with the staff but had very pleasant staff when checking in and checking out. This hotel was not cheap and am glad we stayed no more than a few nights. Will not stay here again.

This is an older hotel but it was still nice. Always felt safe. It was clean. Mattresses weren’t high end, I’d say average. Staff was EXTREMELY friendly! Being able to sit on the balcony and people watch the boardwalk and beach was awesome! Well worth what we paid.

Expensive mediocre food with forced 18% tip. My wife ordered crab legs that were dry and tasteless and corn that was flavorless for $28 . The rest of our food was average. The only server was doing everything with no help. I spent $94 for 3 people and we drank water! I don’t recommend.

Front desk staff: Just OK. Not too friendly or welcoming. Free advice: You have people visiting from all over the world--make them feel that they made the right choice in picking your hotel! Just sayin'. Room: Old, dated, not too clean. They say it was renovated? So much creaking in the bathtub, like there was rotten wood underneath. Price: Inflated. 2-star hotel, not 3 stars like advertised. For the price we paid (including exchange rate), we have stayed in hotels that were 10 times better. Parking: Pretty good for the $10 resort fee charged. This is not an outrageous price, although for the price of the hotel, it should be included. Location and view: Absolutely the best. Would I return? Probably not.

Stopped in for breakfast, wanted to sit oceanfront and there are limited places you can do that for breakfast here. Came in off the Broadwalk, went inside and asked if I could sit outside, since it was empty. Waitress said sit anywhere you'd like. After being outside for about 10mins, the waitress came out and said she didn't notice me out there. She was super polite and chippy. Went to order the biscuits and gravy, but was told they were out of gravy, because the delivery hadn't happened yet. I had read another review that said they ran into same issues, that they were out of a lot of items, might need a new distributor. I was also a bit surprised that they don't make the gravy themselves? It's not that hard, a little rue, milk and seasoning. I ended up ordering some pancakes and home fries. The Home fries were good, thought the serving was a little small, but they were tasty. The pancakes were ok, little dry, but nothing bad. Decent view if the boardwalk, so you can get some good people watching and views of the ocean. I'd come back and give them a try again.
