Food was ok. The crab soup was not that good but there were other options (seafood) that were really good . Our servers were very friendly. Outdoor dining offers a lovely view of the ocean and boardwalk.

Place is not very clean. Everything took forever, food, drinks, and even napkins. Oysters had shells all through them. Nashville hot fish didn’t have much flavor. Truffle fries had an off taste. Only good thing was the she crab soup.

The service was very poor. The food that we ordered was cold and or overcooked. Our server Lauren kept walking past our table looking in our direction purposely ignoring our party. We were sitting waiting on drinks and food that was ordered over an hour. There was no apology, or any acknowledgement that we even placed an order for things that were not brought to our table when we ordered them. The tables were not cleaned off even after it was brought to the attention of staff. We didn’t receive enough silverware to eat with. We were not given napping with our meal. Several(3-5 tables) patrons with the same amount of people in their party came in ordered, were served, ate, given their check and were able to leave before we were able to even get our food and drinks. The server forgot who ordered what and was just giving tickets out to any and everyone at the table expecting them to just pay that bill. It took over 45 minutes for her to get tabs correct and bring us the correct bill to pay. We asked to talk to the manager(Johnny)came out and talked with myself and my wife. He apologized for th service and food because he witnessed the food that had been sent back to the kitchen first hand. Johnny asked why we did not say anything sooner because the service and the server that we had to deal with was unacceptable. We were hoping that the service would get better and that we would eventually receive the food and drinks that we were ordering in a more timely manner. We were a party of five people that were conversating with at least three other people who were being served by the same server and receiving the same service and food problems that we were. This was one of the worst experiences that I have ever endured at a restaurant period!

Our visit to Ocean 14 Restaurant at 1401 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach was nothing short of disappointing. We had to wait 35 minutes just to be seated at a table, and then another 47 minutes before our food arrived. To make matters worse, my daughter’s plate was served 15 minutes after the rest of us had received our meals.
We were seated outside, where it was extremely windy and uncomfortable. We politely asked the staff to close a nearby door (which wasn’t even an entrance), but the waitress said she would ask the manager but no one ever followed up. Eventually, we had no choice but to move ourselves inside.
Once inside, things got even worse. Water was leaking from the ceiling right above my son's head, and we noticed ants crawling on the wall, feeding on what looked like old food stuck on the wall (Picture attached.) It was truly unsanitary.
When the food finally arrived, it looked and tasted like it had been cooked the day before. Nothing was fresh, and certainly not worth the wait.
This was a terrible experience for me and my family. We will never return, and I strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant to spare themselves the same disappointment.

The Place is very nice and the Food is good, the girl ceren from Hollywood pictures offered to take pictures of us. The pictures were amazing!!!!! Loved them!!!!!

Came with my girlfriend to celebrate my 4th of July bday. There was no host so we asked the bartender (Steve) for menus. He pointed to the menu’s like he was irritated and didn’t want to serve us so we had to find our own server. After receiving our food and watered down drinks we noticed we didn’t have plates or silverware so I went to the bar to ask the bartender Steve for silverware because I couldn’t find the server. He looked at me and simply said “ok” and never gave me anything 😒. I had to literally go find the server myself and ask him for silver ware. By that time our food was cold, my girl had no napkins to wipe her hands, we had no waters (mind you, the restaurant was empty and slow so why was service so difficult)? When we closed our check we noticed a service fee of 18%. I didn’t mind because I work in the service industry as a GM for a sports bar in DC so I basically know what that’s about. My girl asked if gratuity was included and Ryan our server said no it’s not included. So he basically gave us bad service and lied to us about gratuity being included in the check. Only good thing about this place was the view and a guitar player. Don’t pay for the Pineapple Crush or Summer Sangria because your basically paying for an exotic watered down drink!!! The crazy part is we got better service from the Mexican Cuisine right next to it and we chose Oceans 14 instead… 🤦🏻♂️
