OLD BEACH TAVERN

I first visited Old Beach Tavern back in the spring of 2024 and we really enjoyed all of our food. Not sure what happened in the 6 month time frame, but I will not be returning. Our server mentioned that they were working on changing the menu. I ordered the same thing I did the first time (Southwest Chicken Salad), but this time I was presented with a bowl of mostly lettuce with some corn and cheese. That’s it. I was really confused because the last time I ordered this salad, it was the best salad I had ever eaten. It came with chicken, avocados, pico de gallo, tortilla chips, corn, cheese, and a chipotle dressing. For $15, it was certainly not worth the bland ingredients and very strange tasting chicken. I could go to Panera down the road and get the same thing for cheaper. Additionally, the burgers we ordered were overcooked, fries were undercooked, and tortilla chips were either stale, old, or not cooked properly.

The only thing that saved the experience was the atmosphere, our appetizer (fried pickles), and attentive service. We left very disappointed for the price we paid and certainly won’t return.

The serviced totally SUCKED!!! A great band with ZERO SERVICE!! Had to wait for at least 30 minutes between ordering a drink until it MAYBE arrived!!! Why???

The food was cold and took forever to come. Only one more table with a family so no excuse of taking so long.
The extra lemons we order for the drinks and veggies were old and dry. Disgusted
The only good thing as Jacqueline with a kind and good attitude.
I don’t think we will come back

I really wanted to like this restaurant, but for the price the food definitely fell short. Burger and sandwiches were so bland, we doubted any seasoning touched our food. Sweet tea was alright though.

If you are looking for a great crowd on a Saturday...this is the place to be! The food is amazing the live bands are even better. You must try the drinks and the crab dip and. The lumpia. The lady that makes those lumpia has a serious gift. The pita chips for the crab dip ????? I ate my food as left over and it tasted as if I just got it made. Will go back for more for sure. The manager was amazing as well, very good with people.

Meh. The food was ok typical bar food. What got us was that we ordered a top shelf bourbon and it was served in a plastic Dixie cup. Mind you, there was a band but they were doing a sound check. It was 7pm. We were told that we couldn’t have a glass because we might get up, dance, get rowdy spill our drink, break the glass and cut someone. The sound check was done by 720. The band never went on while we were there. I can see the rule being enforced at 11 after a few too many but for two adults to enjoy dinner at 7pm I think plastic cups and top shelf bourbon equals tacky. Won’t be back.

The staff was mediocre, as was the food. The burger was greasy. We had 6 in our party. I'm pretty sure this was the consensus

Server and bar tender were very attentive and very nice. The food was expensive and we didn't even finish it because it didn't taste good. Also, the lettuce was wilted, tomato was old/soggy, and the beer cheese was just queso. Huge bummer for $75.

I think charging $5 to get in when you are dining there is ridiculous. Start charging at 8. Your prices are high enough for food. Yes you have free valet, but you need to tip the valet which is common courtesy

Probably one of the best chicken cheesesteak sandwiches I've had in a long time. The roll was really soft and fresh. The fries here are amazing.

Don't come here expecting great food. Shrimp was hard, burgers sweet fries where room temperature, beer was hot, food is okay but just to give you fuel for later, bartender service was good ??.
