We stopped in for cocktails today (6 women of a certain age)! The drinks, the service, the atmosphere and overall vibe were outstanding! We had a great time and will return soon! Highly recommend!
When my date and I arrived we sat down across from the bar and waited about 5 minutes before having to get a menu off the bar myself. We perused the menus for several minutes and after both of us decided on what appetizer and beverage we wanted, no staff had acknowledged our presence. My date asked the host if the tables we were at would receive any attention from a server and he said we would. After another 5 minutes my date advised the host that no one had come to us or acknowledge us, so the host went to get a bartender from behind the bar. The bar tender explained they were busy and apologized, which was not true because at least twice I saw 1 or all three bartenders in their own thoughts and just standing behind the bar waiting for the next person to get their attention at the bar. The drinks and food came out at a reasonable time and were excellent to say the least. After we finished, we sat around for a bit chatting, where my date had noticed our server visit the table behind us several times and not ours, so while he was visiting that table I paid the tab and we left. I'm not sure why, we got a lack of service but from the vibe we got, its exactly why we avoid the oceanfront even though we went to a neighboring establishment and received overwhelmingly great service. The vibe we got is this is a locals bar, with a side of Virginia Beach pretentiousness. The host and the food runner were extremely pleasant and I wish I could say the same for the bartenders/servers that either never looked our way or ignored us since we weren't directly at the bar(the side we were on was not crowded).

The food and atmosphere is spot on. Absolutely dope spot for dinner and drinks. They got the decor down.
Only downside is the service is poor. Like walk in and greeted with the “Do need help?”

This is a small plate restaurant/bar (tapas). A huge array of eclectic drinks and food. Friendly service and really tasty food.

I had a delightful experience at Pacifica. The atmosphere is charming, and sitting at the bar was a great choice. The gin and tonic was generously poured, setting the stage for a fantastic meal. I sampled the dumplings, crab cake, and lamb, and each dish was incredibly flavorful. The attention to detail in the seasoning and presentation made the meal truly enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

My wife and I decided to give this place a try and we're so glad we did! Now we ate there back in October of 2023...but I'm writing a review for Pacifica now because we just booked our hotel for this coming October and we remembered that we definitely have to go back! The menu was diverse and fun to choose from. At the time we were there we tried the Pork Belly BLT Sliders (among other tasty dishes). These were SO good. I'm not sure if these sliders are still on the menu...but please have them back on the menu come October 2024!! The Coy Koy was unique and refreshing -- wish I tried other drinks too. The service was also very friendly and attentive...if a restaurant/bar lacks these qualities, we don't go back!! All in all we loved this place and were glad that the outdoor seating was there so that our dog could join us. So thank you Pacifica for being open during the off season (our favorite time to visit VB) and for being responsible for the best dining experience we've had in VB so far. We'll see you again in October! Sorry for the long review...I don't write many of these and I like to give credit when it's due!

The staff, while nice, was very overworked and service was poor. The food was decent, once it finally arrived, but nothing exceptional. Overall it was a substandard event for the price. Would not recommend.

I am always have to try a tapas restaurant, especially on the oceanfront! I was a little disappointed to see how empty it was mid-evening on a week night. The food was hit or miss but overall overpriced. If I came back, I would get favorites again but could try a few new dishes as well. Favorites: potstickers and crab cakes. Least Favorites: Cheese board and steak tartare. I did enjoy the drinks I got as well!

This new-ish location for Pacifica in the old Elevensies spot is really nice. They didn't change too much and took advantage of the beautiful space. It's wide and airy with a high ceiling and windows all around. Love that in summer they can open the garage windows at the bar area and it's open-air.Our server was incredibly nice and happy to answer all questions. We tried several items from the menu and loved them. Will def. be back!
