I really like this place. I've actually been coming here for over 30 years. I just realized today. It's always been a go to for lunch. It's a nice quaint atmosphere. The service is good and some of the food is good.
Recently I stop in every once in a while for lunch. Their quality is really lacking in a couple of areas which would be easy for them to fix. If you order the chicken wraps, the last time I was there, I ordered them, and the lettuce was all white and red old lettuce, and they looked at me like I was crazy when I said, bring me some fresh lettuce. Today the 2 pieces of lettuce on top were fine, underneath were the old white and red lettuce. Ridiculous. Like they think the customer won't notice. Really? The chef wants to use old vegetables. I also got a lunch hunan chicken to bring home. The mushrooms are as old as they can be. The black you see in my photographs is the mushroom black nearly inedible. In fact, they're concerning to eat. This is because they won't use fresh vegetables, they want to serve all their old vegetables. The chef really should be ashamed of himself and it probably should be inspected. Stop using your old vegetables that should go in the garbage!!!

My absolute favorite dish is their Mongolian Chicken with white rice 👌🏾😋! It never disappoints and is seasoned to perfection every time!

As much as we like to indulge in Chinese Cuisine and it had a great atmosphere service was pleasant but food was subpar. My wife did not enjoy. One of the people in my party was insulted by a local because they claim she had a elbow in the table messing up our experience during dining.
Food was mediocre at best!! And if they are serving drinks in glasses like this then there is no telling what else goes on!
I ordered the shrimp fried rice. I was given hard scorned rice. This was my 1st time going and will be my last. Never seen a Chinese restaurant not properly cook rice. Please save your money and anywhere but here. I have provided the pictures showing it was uncooked.
My son and I hadn't been here in a long time . ATLEAST 10 years. Well, still as good as ever. Feels like home. Great service. Pancit is out of this world. Shrimp toast amazing. My son had the Lo Mein and Egg Drop soup. He loved it. Huge serving both meals.
This has been our go to place forever. The lady that is usually there knows us and always takes care of us. We drive from Norfolk just to eat there. We went there last night and it was busy with take out orders. We sat down as we always do and a man we have never seen before came over to our table and told us they could not serve us. We looked at him and he said we have too many take out orders, we cannot serve you. To say I was shocked is an understatement. Never said I’m sorry, nothing. Very rude and disrespectful. What has happened that you cannot even take care of your regular customers.
Great food and dine-in experience. I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to go here. They do not deliver (you can pick up your food, though), and it's not a buffet - so I have no clue what a lot of the one-star reviews are about. There may be some delivery services that pick up from here, but I don't know because I'm not lazy.
We love Peking City take out! The food is hot, ready when we arrive, and always delicious. It is so nice to have a great Chinese restaurant in our community.
Food wasn't all that great. Wonton soup was greasy and wontons were doughy. Egg rolls were extremely greasy and needed more seasoning. Main courses were quite a bit better.

Terrible! We came right at dinner time and everything was old and crusty! It was the worse chinese buffet we ever been too. This was our second time and our last! We gave it a 2nd chance and it was bad. We didn't even get the hibachi cause you can tell the raw food has been out for a long time and we didn't want to get sick! Their was another gentleman complaining about the same things while we was their! Do not waist your money and the health department needs to be called in! Very expensive for old nasty food also!

I’ve ordered from here plenty of times & let me just say it was the worst Chinese food I’ve tasted in a very long time. I ordered lo mein & the noodles are so sticky & felt like I was chewing gum. The meat tasted horrible & had a foul after taste. I’ve had a stomach ache after only taking a few bites. Don’t know what happened here but definitely not worth spending $$ on.

I couldn't wait to write this review. I had the walnut shrimp, and that imperial sauce was simply amazing. Very delicious meal, and great service. The inside of the restaurant is pretty basic, but they seemed to be very busy with carry out. I will be back for that dish!

Came for lunch and ordered Kung pao chicken. When it came out all I really saw was fried rice, chicken, couple pieces of onion and a couple pieces of green pepper. It was very salty and the rice seemed as it was undercooked and dryish. Some of the chicken tasted fishy. 5/10 I'd try elsewhere.
