I've been getting coffee from Perked Up for years, but now that Morgan owns it, this coffee shop is better than ever. It's the anti-Starbucks local coffee place with homemade grub, excellent coffees and the friendliest staff in Hampton Roads. This cozy shop feels more like a kitchen in a warm home. Prices are fair, the atmosphere is welcoming and parking is a breeze. Keep up the good work! Cheers!!
The inside is very cramped and feels overloaded. The staff was pleasant and swift. The coffee and smoothie was refreshing however the bacon, egg and cheese everything bagel was disappointing. Although a great portion in size for the price, it fell drastically short in flavor. The bagel was dry and the salty to cheesy to eggy ratio that usually explodes in your mouth from such a great combination didn't happen even though it had a good amount of bacon inside.
