Philly Cold Cuts - Great Neck

This is my favorite spot in the 757 to get a good cheesesteak. I live in Norfolk and I make the drive. Everytime I come here they make it just right. I always get a regular philly with mayo, ketchup, grilled onions, green peppers and provolone. They hit it out of the park. Every. Time. I decided to park in some shade and eat my sandwhich today and I've been enjoying myself for almost an hour. The sandwhich is packed full, I kept setting it back down with a content sigh and then picking it back up 5 minutes later. Nice and fresh, and the staff where super friendly couldn't ask for any better.

Todd and Shade along with other employees make everyone feel welcome. They are very friendly and the food is EXCELLENT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

Legit paid $14 for a mid steak and cheese didn’t even come with fries or a drink and I like my food hot but not to the point where it’s burning my mouth

My husband and I visited Philly Cold Cuts on a Friday at lunchtime. We were greeted with very friendly service. The staff was polite and our food came out quickly, which we appreciated.

We both ordered 10-inch Philly sandwiches with onions, Cheese Whiz, and mayo, along with a side of fries to share. The fries were piping hot and perfectly crunchy. We enjoyed them. The sandwiches, however were served relatively hot, but the Cheese Whiz was nearly cold and one half of my sub barely had any meat, which was disappointing (see photo). Overall, the sandwiches were pretty bland and lacked seasoning—we both had to reach for the salt shaker.

I'm giving 4 stars mainly for the great service and speed, but the food definitely needs some improvements. Overall, prices were good. Not sure if we’d come back, but if we do, we’ll likely try something else on the menu.

Great amazing place service is always very nice and good and pricing is immaculate can't go wrong with the 16 inch biggie philly steak taste amazing they also have other great options. They have a reward program which is a bonus as well go here I was eating at iggles cheesesteak but they can't compare to this place

Excellent food. Great price. Awesome service. Is a small family type restaurant in a convenient shopping center. The restaurant itself is clean. I’ve had two dissent types of sandwiches on two different days. Both the Italian and cheesesteak were AMAZING. The smile, patients, and attitude of the staff was awesome. I’m not sure what else to say, but I’ll be eating here often

This review is a twofer. My wife and I decided to try it mid week 2 weeks ago, and the gentleman who answered to take our order was friendly. When we got there, the cheese steaks were hot and ready. When we got home we opened the paper the food was still hot and it was philly all day! The meat; the cheese, and the slightly greasy paper took me right back to South philly. The taste was great. The review would have been a 5 star easy. However, we decided to order again except last weekend. The young lady who answered didn't seem like she was happy to be at work. She was short and sounded kind of annoyed when I was placing the order. When we got the order, my wife said it was a different crew from the last time down to the cook, and it showed. The Italian sub i ordered was good, but my cheese steak was very much NOT. The meat was chopped super fine; there wasn't enough meat on it, and the cheese to meat ratio was off, making it seem dry. I even had mayo on it, and it is still on the dry side. It definitely was a letdown the second time. I will try then again and give an updated review because maybe it was a fluke, but the place has potential.

I bought a whole Philly chicken sub. The taste of the chicken was super bland like it was chicken from a can!!! And the bread 🥖 was to hard!!!!!!!!!

Gonna give them another spot and try the club but the Philly is disgusting. My order was not prepared correctly but I don't think that mattered since the steak doesn't give off a taste. Felt like I was eating a meat filled grilled cheese
