Best cheese steak in Virginia. I've been visiting for years and Jeff and staff are always a pleasure to see and always make a great sandwich.

It wasn't busy, but 2 chicken Phillys and 1 regular Phillu took almost 30 minutes, and they got the order wrong, so 7 min later, the replacement sandwich didn't have cheese. My grandchildren were very disappointed and we will not be back.

My wife and I went got 2 Philly chicken cheese. The chicken definitely came from out a can . I truly miss the one the was open in Portsmouth. I’ve never had a bad sub from there. I will never eat there again !!!!!!

Man, listen...I can't quite remember how I found out about this lil gem of an eatery but I decided to check it out the day before yesterday and I gotta say I was not disappointed. These cheesesteaks are amazing. I thought I found the best one at Philly Cheesesteak Cafe but Philly Cold Cuts is giving them a tough run. I was floored. I liked it so much, I drove another 1 and a half hour to come back yesterday and try a couple other cheesesteaks. Again, wasnt disappointed whatsoever. My only gripe is that I wish I had gotten the chicken pizza cheesesteak instead of steak. I dont think marinara sauce goes too well with it. Thats the only thing I didn't like but the chicken philly and cheesesteak of course were excellent. Not only was the food excellent, the service is too. The first day I went, there was this sweet lil older lady and the gentleman who runs the grill but when I came back yesterday, there was this cute redbone on the grill with the other lady. She was extra sweet too and had such a gorgeous smile. Lord knows I'll be back. I love it here. I meant to try a slice of their cheesecake but I forgot about it. That'll be on my list when I return. Nimmo location is probably the best. The atmosphere is definitely laid back and very comfortable.

Positives first:
Food is great. Very good and actually a good value for what you receive.
Negatives:
Store is very unkept. The workstations were not clean and generally very greasy. Ventilation is an issue due to grease traps not being serviced for an extended period of time.
Delivery orders took way too long to prepare.
Recommended improvements:
Clean the restaurant thoroughly. Invest in some new equipment and clean it daily to prevent grease buildup.
Popular items such as the Cheesesteak and Chicken Cheesesteak should be partially prepared to ensure quick service for delivery (Cook steak and chicken then keep warm.)

Placed the order inside an hr before closing. Had to wait 35 mins for 4 subs and a cold side. Not sure what a real cheesesteak tastes like but it was very fresh, seasoned well, and made the way I asked. Mother had potato salad and she said it was really good. I would suggest calling ahead, but besides the wait, I'd go back.
