Our experience here at this Plaza Aztecs was a good one, raining outside, not very busy, but our food and drinks were all good.

Plaza is our family’s go-to restaurant. Laflaka Salad with chicken is always great. If you are looking for a delicious huge burrito, the Burrito San Jose is great. Always speedy and friendly service.

Excellent food and service. We had a nice comfy booth that’s right next to the windows. I swear I had the best tasting Blue Moon beer at this place. It was served in a frosted glass, freezing cold and perfectly garnished with an orange slice.

Food is amazing. I left Va beach 11 years ago, and was so happy to be back for their guacamole and white sauce. The atmosphere is nice but not what you’d expect.
I love this place so much! Food is amazing and the vibe is very trendy. Best Mexican spot in VB.
Typical cookie cutter Mexican restaurant that’s always consistent, but definitely higher prices compared to similar restaurants selling the exact same things.

This is our go-to spot for great Mexican food. Could eat there every day. The number 5 and number 3 are my favorite. My wife and I just automatically go here when we eat out. We've shown up and ate without ever discussing going there.
The picture is a number 5
I was originally meeting friends at Beach Kabob House for lunch at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Although they indicate they open at 11:00 a.m., when we arrived they were closed. Fortunately Plaza Azteca was on the corner and open.
We were quickly seated in a booth, chips and salsas were provided by our server, our drink order was taken, and we were asked if we wanted an appetizer. Normally we review the menu prior to going out-to-eat; however, since this was a last minute change we needed time to review the menu. Our server was most accommodating. It appears their in-house menu is more extensive than their on-line menu. I ordered the seafood enchiladas. Three enchiladas and white rice with embedded yellow corn.
Our order was brought out by a robot and my friends and I enjoyed the interaction. Our server took the meals from the robot and placed them on the table, and, as expected, hot plates.
We enjoyed our meals. The food was very good; but, the portion sizes, while good, are not what I remember from visits in the past to other Plaza Azteca's. In any case you will not be disappointed by the food or the price. My meal with sweet tea was under $25.
The restaurant is very clean, has a pleasing interior, a good mix of booths and tables, and Great Neck Shopping Center provides plenty of parking.
The staff was remarkable. It's right up there when we dined at Carrabba's Italian Grill. The friendliness, professionalism, attention-to-detail, and being on top of everything from the moment we entered the restaurant until we left was superb. We did separate checks this time and while I'd prefer a single check, our server provided each of us with a separate check.
My friends and I try to get together at various restaurants to catch-up with each other. It was great to enjoy our meals and catch-up with each other and not feel rushed to leave. We look on-line and dine during off-peak times. We were there for an hour and a half.
For my meal refried beans added would be nice.
The service is top notch as well as the atmosphere.
So other than back-and-forth on portion size and I understand food costs have significantly increased; what I paid for was reasonable.
Service was great. Waiter was friendly. The robot that brings your food ( Bella) was pretty cool. My carne azada was okay not great. I'd still come back. Maybe order something else.
I'm visiting from Texas and stopped by here to eat. First I was surprised by the robots yall have to help the wait staff. Pretty cool. I ordered the carnitas plate which was not on the menu and as good as it was they should put it on the menu. The serving size was Texas size. Really enjoyed my visit.
