I'm not what happened to this place over the years, but it's not good. First, when ordering a top shelf margarita, you pay almost double and have an expectation that it will taste good. It doesn't. The lime mix tasted awful and it seemed like there was none of that to shelf tequila. After all that, the good was so-so, but I wouldn't bother with a to-go box.The picture is the left over drink that wasn't worth drinking.

If I'm looking for an inexpensive and quick dinner I go to Plaza Azteca. When we got there around 7:30 pm I thought it would be crowded, but we were able to be seated right away. Our server Yordie was friendly and full of jokes. He was very interactive with us and I appreciate that. Not to mention he was handsome. My girls were hanging onto his every word and beautiful teeth... Lol... He looked like Mario Lopez and we were here for it!!! Lol. We were given chips and salsa right away, and placed our orders. My kids got Chipotle burritos and I got chicken and shrimp fried rice with queso. Our total was about $60 before tip and was pretty reasonable. They enjoyed the burritos. The chicken could have used a little seasoning but the sauces they were given helped cover up the lack of flavor. That chipotle sauce is really good. I added it to my rice and it made it pop. The rice was pretty good, and hot. They certainly didn't skimp on the chicken. I had leftovers so I like the portions. When we left the hostess said good night to us. The staff was nice and we were in and out in no time. I generally stick to the same thing on the menu, but I may try something different next time. If you don't know what to get, the fried rice is pretty straightforward!! Check them out!!

Finally remembered to take a picture of my food lol. I love their fried rice with chicken. My friends and I like coming here because of the good food and service. I also normally get the pomegranate margarita. Their salsa and chips are good. We ordered the table side guacamole today. It was good and full of flavor.

My friend loves to order the cheese and when I tried it, it’s literally the CANNED GROCERY STORE TOSTITOS BRAND cheese!! The downtown Norfolk location is excellent but I really would hate to try the food from this location if they’re ripping off people and screwing them out of good cheese…….
Amazing food, amazing service! This location is much roomier than the Virginia Beach location.The serving sizes were huge. My friend and I both had to ask for take home boxes.

Did the tableside guacamole in the volcanic mortar.. bits of the mortar mixed into the guac,almost chipped my tooth. Told the server she apologized but the mgr didn't come to address it. Had the enchiladas,meat was dry and stringy, very pushy with

This was our first visit to this location. The flavor exceeded expectations! The portions were generous. Patty was friendly and attentive. She even gave us a run down on specials per day and said next time I should really try a margarita. There will certainly be a next time!
