Not Good at all!!!! The name was from a very good established bakery and this one is nothing like the original.

First time stopping in, I drove over 30 mins bc someone recommended it to me. I ordered the Petite fours, lemon bar, an iced caramel macchiato. While they were making my macchiato I was informed that there was no ice inside of the ice machine and that I could either get the drink hot or I can take it lukewarm and go find some ice 😂 I asked for a refund because I don’t like hot coffee and I didn’t have the time to stop at another establishment and PAY for ice. After asking for a refund, I was told that wasn’t an option bc the workers who were there weren’t allowed to do refunds (I paid with cash) so I ended up taking the lukewarm coffee and went across the street to McDonald’s to buy a cup of ice. It’s really pretty inside tho!

Just came by from there and I will say; expensive for who knows what. I ordered the eclair and just that cost me $8. The pasty was dense, the chocolate was far too rich and the cream was not a custard. Felt more like vanilla pudding. The service was okay but for what it's worth, go somewhere else.

I recently moved back to the area and growing up my mother and I loved the original plaza bakery off laskin. When I saw they moved, I was actually excited, because they were much closer to my new apartment. I wanted to relive some memories of growing up with a TV bar. That was a massive mistake on my part. Long gone are the perfectly piped buttercream icing upon a moist chocolate cake with a thin layer of chocolate, instead I got a dry cake with flavorless buttercream and way too thick chocolate coating that was disgusting. I also got two petite fours, which were not at all uniform, but still tasted decent which is why this got 2 stars instead of 1. I miss the old bakery.

Went 1 week and 2 days ago. This is what i would call a short review, bc i was planning on making it more detailed but dont have that energy.(I make trips to the area every now and again). Not a 'real' bakery. Should have checked the reviews first. Megan from two weeks ago and guy that bought the coffee a few weeks ago.. totally agree. Tasteless, soggy. No half n half or real coffee or quality tea. Banana pudding was pricey for quantity, shoulda just swung by Scratch for their quart (tried and true). Perfect place for those who hold aesthetics in much higher value over taste and quality. Oh, and I've had better tasting petit fors that I've had to defrost.

I was looking for a birthday cake, was out in their area, stopped in. Didn’t get a cake, but left with some delicious Cake pops for my kiddos, a sweet potato muffin w/ almond cream cheese topping, and a lemon bar. All were fabulous. Definitely will return when in the area, super friendly staff. Recommend you check them out!

The staff member was kind and the facilities were clean. However, the food and drinks were inedible.

The eclair was so soggy that when I picked it up to take a bite, water dripped out of the pastry onto the table. When I brought it to a staff member’s attention, they apologized and gave me a new one, but it turned out that all of the eclairs in the case were like that. If you pushed your finger into the bottom, water dripped out.

The staff member agreed to swap it with something else. I had a lemon bar, which was the most flavorless lemon bar I’ve ever had.

The sugar cookie was beautifully decorated but was covered in a thick (1/3” or so?) layer of solid buttercream. My sugar-loving 7yo could only handle a few bites before she said it was too sweet.

For hot cocoa, they mixed chocolate syrup with water. It was undrinkable. They agreed to fix it but just added more syrup to the water. When I pointed out that chocolate syrup usually needs to be mixed with milk to make cocoa, they added a little bit of milk on top but didn’t remake it.

The latte tasted bitter and burned.

We paid $25 for a cookie, an eclair, a latte, and a cup of hot chocolate, and all of it went in the garbage after a few bites. (After two attempts to replace the eclair with something edible, and two attempts to get drinkable hot cocoa, we just gave up.) Such a disappointment!

Today was our first time visiting this place and I can’t believe it took us so long ! The pricing, presentation, atmosphere and energy were incredible ! We tried the cake slice, macaroon, French vanilla espresso and cake pops- everything was great and not overly sweet. We will be back for sure. The owner and her staff are very attentive and helpful. Thanks again. Can’t wait to see what we try next.

I've had cake and petit fours here, but let me tell you, I just learned that this place has catastrophe-level banana pudding. Like, you all need to stop putting this stuff in a grande-sized cups to save my waistline. Please package it in a smaller cup, because this banana pudding was life changing. Hand down, THE BEST banana pudding that I've had the good fortune to encounter. Like, I-WANT-TO-BE-BURIED with it level. So stop messing with me, and package this kryptonite in a lower calorie case so I don't feel like a filthy sinner buying that amount of the best banana cream pudding that I cannot stop myself from eating. Definitely recommend, 10/10.

I recently visited Plaza Bakery and was absolutely blown away by the experience. First off, the banana pudding is easily one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly creamy with just the right amount of sweetness, layered beautifully with fresh bananas and vanilla wafers that melt in your mouth. It’s a must-try dessert that speaks to true Southern comfort.

The hospitality was just as impressive. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. They were warm, attentive, and quick to offer recommendations with a smile. You can tell they take pride in both their service and their treats.

The decor ties everything together—charming, clean, and cozy with just the right mix of modern and homestyle touches. It’s the kind of place where you can sit and relax with friends or grab something sweet on the go and still feel like you’ve stepped into somewhere special.

Plaza Bakery isn’t just a bakery—it’s an experience. I’ll definitely be back!
