Stopped in for breakfast twice. Extensive breakfast menu better than Dennys. Very friendly & efficient staff. To avoid vacationing crowds arrive before 8:30am. Classic decor right out of 1960/70's. If you are culturally sensitive you may not like but reminded me of my childhood. O ly down side was the coffee. OK on fist day but ultra weak the next.

Came here with family to enjoy a nice breakfast. Our server was a nice young man who was very attentive and had great customer service. The restaurant was very tight and one older server whom was the only server with ginger hair and glasses who kept bumping my mom and did not say excuse me not even once. Towards the end, she rudely told my mom to scoot her chair in when she couldn’t and we asked if another customer could scoot his chair in and said he could not. She did not once ask him. She then started to tell another server and they began mocking my family and I after we complained about how rude and RACIST they were being towards my family and I! Beware of this place and their customer service, especially if these two women are still working here, they should be fired.

Our favorite place to get breakfast at the beach. Get there early or there will be a wait. The food has always been good every time we have been. Service is always pretty fast even when it is jam packed

Pocahontas Pancake House has a fantastic location—right in front of our hotel and just a street away from the beach. There’s almost always a line out the door and down the street, but we happened to arrive at the perfect time and were seated right away. Even so, it was insanely crowded inside. If you get up to use the bathroom, you feel like you’re going to bump into several people or tables on the way.

The food was just okay. The pancakes were not very fluffy and tasted like they might not have been super fresh. My bacon and sausage were definitely not fresh, and the sausage was cold. On the bright side, my husband’s omelette was actually very good—so I’d recommend the omelettes over the pancakes here.

Our waitress was very nice, and the Native American–themed decor felt fitting, considering Pocahontas would have lived in this area. Overall, a decent spot for the location, but the food didn’t live up to the hype.
