This was by far the worst chicken ever. We ordered the 8 pc meal. When we got home there was only 6 pcs. The two sides were so small it would not feed one person. And the price was almost 30.00. The chicken we did get was dried out as well as the mac and cheese. The fried okra was good but the oil they fried it in must have been old. Very disappointing.

My #1 go to for NC Pork BBQ. Not much to look at on the outside, but ask yourself why the parking lot is away full with locals.

This hole-in-the-wall kitchen has an impressive selection of classic Southern soul food dishes. Clean facility with COVID restrictions in place for a safe dining experience.

Do they even own seasonings?? Collards & green beans were so bland & the collards tasted old. Didn’t even give us all 8 chicken tenders & 2 were as skinny as my fingers. Disappointed because it used to be good. Much better soul food in the 757

Pollard's had sentimental meaning to my family from when my mom and husband were still alive. We used door dash this time. Food was okay, but not quite the same. How do you pack a $62.00 order with not 1 condiment? Honey is supposed to come with the puffs. We didn't even get that. Don't know if I'll ever try them again. Disappointed.

I placed an order for a simple two piece special and it took well over an hour others came in ordered after me and got their complete orders they had completely forgotten about my order the worst service I’ve ever gotten from Pollard’s chicken I will never return to this location again at Virginia Beach Blvd.

I was put on hold for 15 minutes which allowed me to hear a whole conversation between cashier about Christmas. So finally I drove to the Pollards chicken at London bridge. When I arrived I was still on hold. When I said something to the cashier and she said they had to take the orders in front of them which is correct but there had been 5 to 10 minutes with no customers and I didn’t hear them place any orders. I didn’t get a apologize or nothing she basically blew me off. The cashier was an older African American woman and a young white girl with a Leopard print mask. Now that I’m standing in here she wants to answer the phone.

If you dont know ,now you know! Go get it . Love it. Pollard's has been feeding me since before 1993. Fish dinner is where it is at. Oh never forget your PUFFS

Great food, especially if you are having a party. Great deals on the chicken and sides. You can order and pick up when you want it. Friendly staff.

Ordered in person. Waited patiently for my order. Then I watched and listened as they gave my order to someone else who called their order in. Now I am having to wait another ten minutes for my order which should have had priority over the call ins or pickup orders. Times are hard. I understand. But your customer service should remain well within the desired results. My main complaint is that they gave my order to another when I could have already been on my way. First and last visit to this location.

Our company ordered Pollards' boxed lunches for our employees and we were extremely impressed with our entire experience. It was very simple to order online, with several options to choose from (we narrowed it down to three). Once we ordered, we were sent a confirmation email and itemized list of everything we selected. The driver arrived to our building early and the delivery process was flawless. The individual boxes were labeled, which made it super easy for employees to identify their meal. The boxes even had a tamper evident seal on them. Not to mention the actual food was awesome too! From portion size to quality to price, everything was perfect. We have some very satisfied (and well fed) employees. I highly recommend their catering and will be ordering from them again.

Went here for the first time today. I was extremely disappointed. The chicken sandwich was rubbery, the macaroni and cheese was definitely not fresh or made in house. It was also cold when it came out. The restaurant was fairly quiet - when no one was waiting on line the staff started talking poorly about customers they had just dealt with. I witnessed the interactions - none of the customers were belligerent - just frustrated at wrong orders. An elderly woman was struggling with the soda machine - she was allegedly told by a young man working up front that "it's not rocket science" - I learned of this only since he shared with his coworkers after the line was clear. Customers could hear everything. Very disrespectful and the opposite of "service." Save your money - Popeye's and McDonald's is cheaper and way better.

I try to come here every time I am in town visiting family. They have the best fried okra I have ever had, and I’ve had a lot of good fried okra. Their chicken is delicious too. It is perfectly juicy and crispy. This is one of those places worth going out of the way for.

I chose Pollard's Chicken to cater a celebration of life after service gathering . They showed up promptly, the food was all of the proper temperature, with plates, utensils and service utensils provided. There was more then enough food to go around, in spite of more people attending then anticipated. I would definitely recommend their service. The price was excellent.
