Pollard's Chicken

We love Pollard’s at London Bridge Shopping Center, they are a staple in our monthly eating out rotation! Delicious fried chicken that is always hot and fresh which does require a small wait but never long. All of the sides are awesome that I’ve tried so far, potato salad, macaroni salad, mixed greens, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cole slaw. The puffs that come with the chicken meals are delicious and the perfect sweet compliment with the honey to the savory food. Their hot sauce for their condiments is awesome too! Also shout out to them because we called them when my husband forgot to grab a gallon of sweet tea that we ordered with our meal and they refunded it to my card since my husband forgot it! Best chicken in Virginia Beach, the 757, and definitely one of the best in Virginia, my comfort food!

My friends approximately 6 of us called into Pollard's tonight for to go orders. We were told it would take approximately 20 to 30 minute wait. We all went to retrieve our orders and to our dismay the food was terrible! The 2 piece chicken snack, chicken tender combo w/ mac n cheese, 2 piece dark w/fries, large gizzard, small gizzard, and a 2 piece dark combo ALL tasted old! The oil that it was fried in was definitely OLD oil! I called tonight and spoke with shift manager to complain. The shift manager I spoke with tonight told me that they have been using Old oil all week. They have been unable to filter the old becase they had NO filters to filtrate the oil. That they are aware of the issue and to feel free to contact corporate to lodge a complaint. All I can say is WOW! Between myself and my 6 friends we spent a minimal of $100 dollars or more. Just shameful how to spend so much money tonight. Just to end up not able to eat the food at all... Pollards you should be a shamed to even continue to sell fried food in OLD tail oil!

I picked up a small catering order yesterday for my family and friends. Order was ready as promised. Customer service was great. We all enjoyed the chicken. A little pricey but that's to be expected these days. Thanks so much and blessings to you all

The Goth teenager with the painted nails at the counter was mad at the whole world today, nasty little guy. I got out of there before he might have snapped like a Columbine kid. Get a nicer person on the register.

Crap service all around. Employees dont care about anything regarding their jobs. Managers included. No wonder this company is dying. Used to love this place. Won't be going back. Dont waste your money. You food will be late and cold. Manager will just tell you that you are wasting his time when you complain about the crap service and food.

They got our work order wrong on July 25th missing several items, wrong items,no condiments. Called to explain our order mistakes guy on phone was very dry I asked if i get a credit for my order he got silent. I called back phone call was disconnected twice third time phone rang busy. Finally talked to manager and he said come by and he'll replace my order I told him I would be there after 8 I got there at 8:35 they closed at 8:30 the manager COULD have let me know they closed at 8:30. In reading Google reviews I see alot of dissatisfied customers 🤬
