Pollard's Chicken

Door open at 11:00am and went in at 11:05 ordered some gizzards , excited and all because heard good things about pollards but my gizzards were old and dried up waste of money at this location

This place is garbage! THE food was horrible now maybe the grease was old but chicken was RUBBERY the mac & cheese look like box no love in cooking at this place custmer service was garbage then there is a tip jar on the counter I got a tip for you... STAY OUT OF DARK ALLEYS AT NIGHT. GOT DAMN! I JUST WANTED SOME WINGS FRESH OUT THE GREASE LIKE I HAD ASK FOR didint thing I'd had to check behind them well you lost a custmer 4sho!

The location at great neck and the blvd is the best… the people there are so kind!!!! Recommend!!!!!!

The service was great! The young man at the counter was so nice and respectful.I got two orders of LG. Mix was Soo bad !!! They were cooked in old oil. They were black and no taste! What the .. I would have came and got my money back if I had the extra time! Only thing I like this black is my man. For this food a half of star 😐 January 27,2025

DON’T go to the College Park location. I waited 30 min for a 2pc dinner. The store was empty and the employees were laughing & playing. I’m glad I opened the box before leaving. There was something resembling puffs. They were cold, old & looked like one of them had been bitten. The employees found it funny & made stupid excuses. I definitely won’t be back.

If you list a pick up time, then the chicken should be hot when you pick it up- it was lukewarm. The Mac and cheese was good. The baked beans tasted like straight out of a can- could be a lot better with a little help. This location needs to get it together!!

I stopped by and got chicken livers with chicken and dumplings. My sides were corn pudding, and fries. Everything was good. I felt like they gave me a bunch of livers. Was tasty.

I was charged $11. Apples were sour and disgusting and I didn't get my puffs that was supposed to come with my meal.

I ordered two pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. Disgusting. The chicken was ok. The mashed potatoes were dry and clumpy throughout, the green beans were straight from the can with not one ounce of seasoning. What a waste of money.

They seem to be really short staff at this location. The last time I was here, it took almost an hour before I got my food. Today, I walked in, and there were 12 people ahead of me waiting for their orders. Once I found that out. I turned around and left and went to the Great Neck Rd location and got everything I needed. And had very little time to wait. Now the food is great at the College Park location. And the staff is trying to do their best. But expect a wait.

Wanted to try Pollards for the first time. I ordered online. Vegetable plate, a corn muffin and a slice of pie. Not even any meat. It said it would be ready at 5:36 and that it accepted my order and I paid online. I got to the restaurant 45 minutes later and they had not even started my order. Unreal, very disappointed and doubt I will return.

Never has the liver and onions for one reason or another. Todays reason: They were out of rice. How do you run out of rice? Its a staple strach. Why doesnt someone go get some? Food Lion is right next door. Third day in a row no liver n onions, with three different reasons. Im not going to bother even topping here anymore. WARNING!!! This location is lacking...

I am so tired of getting terrible service at this location. Every time we place a pick up order it is NEVER ready when we show up, even if we order hours or days in advance. The last time we ordered they shorted us two sides. I tried calling but phone rang busy for over 15 minutes. My husband went back to get the food and was treated like a cheat/liar which is always nice when it was their mistake to begin with. My husband noted that the phone had been taken off the hook behind the counter, hence the busy signal. My kids request Pollard's for their birthdays but we will probably go elsewhere from now on. We pretty much know now it will be bad experience.

I ordered over 40 dollars in food just to find an earring back in my Mac and cheese. The green beans were not seasoned either. Very disappointed
