This was my very first time eating from Pollards Chicken and they did not disappoint. I ordered a 6 pc. Wing meal with mixed greens, French fries, and puffs. The chicken and mixed greens were well seasoned and juicy!!! The puffs were fluffy and flavorful! I definitely will be ordering from here again. 10 out 10 definitely recommend!

I ordered 50 tenders and 30 puffs for a family memorial birthday celebration for my son who passed away a year and a half ago. He always loved Pollards tenders. I was extremely disappointed. Tenders used to be large and juicy...they were half the size they used to be, if that, and dried out. As soon as I peeled back the foil I questioned how that could possibly be 50 tenders! There is no way Pollards can win best chicken gold again with tenders like this. There were 9 adults and 2 young children to feed. I figured 50 tenders would be plenty to eat with lots leftover to enjoy the next day, but that was based on the tenders I used to know from Pollards. Luckily we had plenty of sides we made ourselves to go with them or there would not have been enough food. Everybody commented about how small and dried out they were. Never again...$100 later.

Been in this area for over 40 years. Don't go here often they do have good tasting food. However, the gizzards have been lacking lately. Don't get very many.as you use to and It's little pieces.

We were in the area at the Asian market on Great Neck and walked down to Pollards and decided to go in and get something quick to eat. The door was unlocked and the open sign was on with all of the lights on so we went in. Before we could make it through the second door the lady took off to the back and the other lady that was randomly laid out across the chair said it’s 8 o’clock and the girl that went to the back came back out and said oh we are closed. Before I could say okay have a nice night, the lazy looking girl laying down yelled out “Not tonight!” as we were leaving. The rude unprofessional behavior was uncalled for and if you were closing you should have been locking the doors and turning off the sign so customers know to go elsewhere. I don’t care which city I am in Pollards is just ghetto af unless they are catering and you don’t have to deal with anyone. It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten there because the food is just okay at best but you definitely don’t have to worry about me coming back. I am sitting in my car typing this review before I drive off and all of the staff already walked out of the building five minutes later. Did they clean anything because they were just laying around talking. Thank you for not serving my family. We may have just avoided a potentially unsanitary place.

I used to work for Jonny Pollard and the london Bridge restraunt when they first opened over 50 years ago. I've been all up and down the East Coast while I was in the military, and there's no point in looking for the best chicken restaurant because no one beats Pollards!
