We were 4 adults and 4 children under 3, separate checks, each check had a mandatory 20% gratuity. They counted the children as part of our “party of 8”. Had we sat at separate tables, we would have had a different outcome. The food was similar to denny’s. They claim children eat free and then use them as an excuse to increase your parties headcount. Had we had older children that occupied more of their resources or required more care it would have been understandable and maybe had made more sense but this felt particularly underhanded. We were sat at a booth table that fits 7 at most. We didn't need a high chair, but used one, and that apparently is what did it. Will not be returning and would not honestly recommend it anyway.

Made an online order for my 10 year old Mastiff’s last special meal before he has to be put to sleep. I put in the note that I wanted no onions bc it’s for a dog. They called immediately to offer me an alternative to home fries that have onions. They talked to me about my dog when I arrived. They added bonus bacon for him. He wasn’t able to stand to eat it but he gives the Hangover Cure and bacon five stars. This is truly special place. #cleanplateclub

I ordered a Jerry Sandwich, which is a Croissant with eggs and sausage. Also included jam(or jelly) . Well all the sausage meat, eggs and the inside of the Croissant was covered in the jam, completely. Like the eggs, meat and inside of the bread was dipped in a vat of jelly, dripping . I did not expect that. So I was surprised. Maybe that’s standard procedure for their sandwich. Just be ready.

A really great restaurant that has a great selection and very large portion sizes for a very reasonable 👍 price. Coffee was good. The wait staff were friendly helpful, and attentive. I am from, New York and look forward to visit again. They only have three locations in the Virginia Beach region.
Went there for the 1st time today. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. My eggs came to the table with a slice of cheese on it like it was a burger. The cheese should have been scrambled into the eggs.Too bad I haf to give this place a store just to post a review

I finally got to eat here. The pancakes were what I expected. They were delicious. I though that the portion and presentation of the home fries was lacking. The waitress was EVERYTHING. She even removed items that I placed near the edge of the table closest to her. This is a pet peeve of mine. I never say anything, but when it is done, I give an extra tip! Definitely, this place is worth a repeat.
