Where to start. Disappointing to say the least. This use to be my favorite place to go. But was able to tell that they changed owners . The original staff most of them are gone and the service and food has changed not for the better either .Waited over an hour for my our food . We ordered fettuccine Alfredo which was awful, the amount of Parmesan added was ridiculous and killed whatever flavor it might have had . Also ordered the pepperoni roll terrible as well and a slice of pizza which was cold to boot . Our waitress when we did see her just made excuses for the kitchen being slow and never acknowledged the fact that my family and I hardly touch our food or the fact that I asked for the check 10 minutes after she brought out our food.She was to busy clearing our table to even ask or notice we hardly touched our dinners . My advice to the new owners is go back to the old ways and to call the previous owners and get some advice . I spoke to the manager who honestly did not seem to care that they lost my family’s business. This is the last time you will get my hard earned money.This was at the 2277 Upton Dr, Virginia Beach, VA 23454 location my apologies if I placed this on your page by mistake, I will be visiting your other restaurant in the future in hopes that I haven’t lost my favorite family restaurant.

Waited an hour after being seated to receive our meal. Steak (which was on special) was ordered Med-well; arrived burnt to a crisp. Looked like a charcoal briquette. Terribly disappointing. Never again.

I just found it to be very lackluster for how often it is packed and wait times being long often, I was just expecting better. Server was extremely busy so service wasn't personal but we were taken care of. Watching how the dining room operated, how packed it was and loud just made me anxious. I want to try it again, just don't know if it would be worth it. The food wasn't really worth the "eh" experience.

This is our go-to Italian restaurant! Love Primo’s! Wait staff is always friendly and nice to my kids!
We normally get pickup from the red mill location, but since moving to a new area this one is closer. We ordered pickup for the first time tonight and I was so excited since the margherita is my fav at the other primo. I didn't love this one. There was something wrong with the cheese. It had a metallic taste and just wasn't good. I ended up taking all the cheese off the margherita and adding red pepper flakes, more garlic powder, and dipping it in their ranch cups. They do still have the best ranch though, so yay for that. My hubby didn't notice the weird taste with the cheese, so maybe it was just me. It's very noticeable though. He enjoyed his Hawaiian pizza with cherry peppers. It's his fav and he gobbled it right up. Maybe I'll try a slice of margherita in the future to see if it's still weird, and if it's fine then I'll keep ordering it. It was definitely a let down, but I might try again in the future.

Absolutely top shelf food and very freindly service. Recently ate here and had to again because it was so good. The pizza is great, the Stromboli is excellent, and the meat ravioli with meat sauce is to die for. A new local favorite and I'm sad it took so long for us to try, but it is a new family favorite. Parking can be a short walk, but well worth it

Pretty descent pizza, but cashier customer service is poor. Cashier didn't know menu items and just said they don't sell the item I asked for. Asked her to name the items in the category I requested and she named the exact item I asked for from the menu!
