Our second time coming to Pho House and once again, it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. The owner, Jay, is so personable, and you can tell she truly enjoys every dish she serves to her customers. Highly recommend!

Easily best pho in vb n close to best on east coast.. I eat pho all over the country been to over 100 places.. this is top 5.
Pho House is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff greets you like family. The pho is nothing short of incredible—rich, flavorful broth that tastes like it’s been simmering for hours, paired with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh, vibrant herbs. Every bite feels authentic and made with love.
The portions are generous, the menu offers something for everyone, and the service is always attentive without ever feeling rushed. Beyond the pho, the appetizers and specialty dishes are just as outstanding—each plate bursting with freshness and flavor.
Pho House isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. Comforting, authentic, and consistently delicious. Easily one of my favorite spots, and a place I’ll keep coming back to again and again!

Restaurant Review – Pho House, Virginia Beach
Our family visits Virginia Beach often, and we decided to try a new local spot instead of our usual restaurants. Here’s our honest feedback:
What we liked:
• Clean and comfortable environment
• Friendly idea of supporting local business
What could be improved:
• Pho bowls ($18–$20) had very little meat and lower-quality steak than expected
• Noodles in the Pho were starchy — likely from not draining or changing the water
• Even one child in our group mentioned the lack of meat in their bowl
• Korean seafood noodle hotpot came with only one shrimp and one piece of squid
• For the higher price, portions and ingredient quality didn’t match expectations
Final thoughts:
• We understand food costs are rising, but if prices go up, portion sizes and quality should reflect that
• Hope this feedback helps the owners improve — the place has potential

I PAID 10 DOLLARS FOR A PIECE OF BREAD!! Absolutely diabolical.. she handed me the bag..felt super light..
I opened it and was flabbergasted.. 6 pieces of pork on this giant loaf of bread.. fillings, meat and sauce didn't go to the edges of the bread. They even skimpped on the veggies. If i wanted bread i woild gave went to a bakery! They should be ashamed serving people this shit. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. Customer service could use some work.

the food is definitely over priced! And I’d expect the food to be tasty if you’re charging me $20 for a pho, but come on man, it’s just a mediocre bowl of pho - no surprises. I am 5’1 and 100lbs but even I don’t feel filled with their food portion. Will not go back. This is sad, business owners should do their market research to determine the best price for the locals. And they even charged 3% if paid with credit card, ridiculous!

Food here is hands down amazing! We ordered com tam and Hu tieu kho, both were flavorful and delicious! The presentation of com tam was also superb. Will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu. Oh also forgot the mention the refreshing sugarcane drink. No where else beats this place

We stopped by Pho House on our way home from vacation. The Bun Bo Hue was delicious! The Banh Mi, the bread, was the closest thing to the authentic bread in Vietnam. The Pha Lau was great as well. Friendly staff, clean, quick. We will be back next time!

The food is extremely expensive compared to other Vietnamese places and the portion gets smaller and smaller each time we go, but I gotta say the broth is good

Last time I ate there, this chicken rice portion had a very large portion of chicken. Today, my brother bought it home for me to eat, and the portion of chicken was twice as small as last time. The sauce was spilled out of the container.
