I visited before the dinner crowd, therefore it wasn't very busy. That said there was zero wait time.
I had Tikka Masala Seafood with garlic naan, which was fantastic I will definitely go back.

Just had the chicken tikka masala here and wow it was absolutely amazing! The sauce was super flavorful and creamy, with just the right amount of spice. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really know what they’re doing in the kitchen. On top of that, the staff was incredibly attentive, checking in often, water was topped at all times and making sure everything was perfect. Definitely coming back for more!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience!

Punjabi Rasoi is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, family-run atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service is exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring.

The food is the real star here. The Chicken Tikka Masala was bursting with rich, flavorful spices and perfectly cooked tender chicken. The Garlic Naan was soft, buttery, and fresh from the tandoor — the perfect companion to every bite. And the Lamb Kebab was simply melt-in-your-mouth delicious, seasoned to perfection.

You can tell every dish is made with love and authentic Punjabi passion. If you’re looking for amazing food, great service, and a place that feels like family, Punjabi Rasoi is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been to this place plenty of times every time I’m there there’s something is wrong. One time I went in there. Chicken was tasted like it was spoiled. Second time I went got a mango smoothie and the milk was spoiled and this time I went in with my wife the chicken biryani was too spicy, so I send it back and then the gentleman came up to me and have me pay for it after I send it back. I am a restaurant owner and anytime I have people come to my business and tell me that they not satisfied with the food. I definitely take it off the bill not sit there and give them attitude. I’ve been a few times and I realize this place is not good so I’m just letting you know if you go there be careful of what you eat and what you asked for cause you’re not gonna get what you eat or you ask for

I have been wanting come here for a couple years now and finally made the time to do so. Really glad I did! I tried the tikka masala and my wife had the butter chicken. Both were really tasty and were very high quality. The garlic naan was phenomenal! I would come here just to buy this. I have been eating Indian food overseas for many years but never tried it at home until today. Really glad I had a lunch date with my wife here.
The prices seem high but you are paying for quality. I will definitely come back.

We live in Edenton, NC and we make it a point to come here for our Indian fix whenever we’re in town. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is fun and colorful, accented with authentic Indian scooters and classic car ends, giving the space a vibrant, street-market charm. I highly recommend it!

My family and I finally decided to have dinner here after passing by for two years. I’m so glad we did! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Everything was absolutely delicious, from the drinks, to the appetizer, to the different entrees. Even the kids said it was a 10/10! We can’t wait to share this place with friends and family.

Absolutely charming family-owned joint. I've never had anything there that wasn't delicious, and I've never had an experience where i felt like anything less than family.

Staff is friendly and helpful - definitely take their recommendations, they won't steer you wrong! They're also great about checking in to make sure you're enjoying your dish and that the heat level is appropriate. I have no doubt that if you objected, they would happily correct it without hesitation.

If you've never been here, definitely try it. Vibes are cozy and warm, food is incredibly well spiced and PLENTIFUL, and the staff is SO sweet. Highly recommend.

(My favorites are the malai methi and the lamb rogan josh!)

I highly recommend this place for everyone who likes flavorful, beautifully served dishes with a mouth-watering aroma, a hospitable environment, and bright, casual decor that makes you feel like part of a Bollywood movie. If you are a vegan or a vegetarian, this place will pleasantly surprise you with the number of options they offer! My favorites are samosas (!!!), Bombay potatoes, curries, and exquisite cherry naan. I give 5 stars to this family restaurant and can't wait to visit it again!

We came here for the first time tonight. The food was great, staff was extremely attentive without hovering. Making sure everything was up to expectations. You can tell they really care that you have a good experience.

We will be returning!
