Yesterday, I visited to purchase the triple chocolate roll, which I was excited to try. However, upon tasting it at home, I noticed an unusual off-flavor. My husband and I realized that the source of the off-taste was the cake box itself. The cake had absorbed the box’s smell, which unfortunately affected its flavor. This was disappointing, as the cake itself is delicious, but the packaging issue diminished our overall experience. It felt like our money was wasted, as we couldn’t fully enjoy what should have been a great treat. I kindly urge the management to address the quality of the cake boxes to ensure they do not impact the product’s flavor.

DO NOT EAT HERE SEVERE FOOD POISONING! My wife bought us pancit palabok party platter, and a New Yema Caramel Cake for my birthday. Ever since we ate them we have had diarrhea, throwing up, and severe stomach cramps. We went to the hospital they said it was food poisoning. We still have some pancit palabok we will take it to health department to have them close this place. If it comes back as contaminated I will have my attorney file charges against this place. I will never eat here EVER AGAIN it should be closed for business this is our second time getting sick after eating her, but this was by far the worse.

Very disappointed in the order of Palabok as the dish is just about 80% noodles which causes for lack of flavor. This will have been the second instance this happened with this dish.

I have been a customer of this company for years and never had a bad experience. Last Wednesday, I asked if they still offer the +1 for the mamon and cashier said yes w/the variety one w/c I got & something else. She then showed me my free (+1mamon) but when I arrived home and of course unload the bag, it wasn’t there. It is just sad that sometimes it’s hard to find people for the job. Sure this will hurt the company that’s why it took days for me to post this but I need to say something. The rest is yours to decide, I did mine.

I’m from TX and the empanadas at this shop are fabulous! Best I’ve had including homemade from friends in TX. The cakes are amazing, and the sponge candy reminded me of my childhood in Buffalo! The best of both places. Love, love!!

Yema cake is always good.. But the mamon cheesy and butter always has mold on it. Ridiculous.

My recent purchase of cakes from Red Ribbon, I was very pleased. The cakes were freshly baked, moist and full of flavour. The variety of flavours offered was great. The presentation was also appealing. And the mango supreme slice, so delicious. I will be returning soon. Thank you!
