Food portions and service are good. The place could use some sprucing up. The ceiling tiles looked water damaged and moldy. The house salad dressing was a let down. My son was able to have plenty of leftovers with his junior pizza. Probably could have fed two children.

The restaurant closing time is 10 pm but they started cleaning up/stacking chairs at 9 pm while we were eating which made us uncomfortable to eat with the smell of floor cleaner liquid.Bread was served too late and the food didn’t taste good.The place smelled like smoke and this was our worst dining experience ever.

My family brought me here for my birthday. My husband, dad, and I shared a deep dish pepperoni pizza. It was huge and we had half of the pizza left over. The pizza was delicious and the crust was cooked to perfection. My mom got the lasagna and said she enjoyed it very much. She also had enough left over to make a second meal of it. Our server was very kind and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.Parking: Plenty of parking as this is in a shopping center.

Our server was attentive, upbeat, and the quality of service was pretty good. Atmosphere was typical for an Italian American restaurant.But the food? Honestly beyond sub standard. Pasta wasn’t anywhere close to al dente, it was just mushy. The marinara sauce was just a watery mess with no substance or body. Both my wife and I got pieces of chicken that were pounded way too thin, and then over cooked and completely dried out. I’ve been to plenty of Italian American restaurants that put care and effort into their food preparation, but this place doesn’t seem to be up to standards. It’s baffling that it’s rated over 4 stars, but seems pretty typical of places in the VA Beach area. Most likely a lot of people who grew up going to this place and keep going back.
