Omg!Best burger I've had from a restaurant in at least 15 years. I like burgers cooked rare and the outside of the patty was perfectly seared while the inside was a uniform pink. It was food for the soul ? 20/10 recommend

The food is amazing. I Doordashed once. I love the parm truffle fries, but unfortunately, my sitting in experience was subpar. Our waiter purposely ignored our table to service others. We had to walk out.

We drove 600+ miles today to spend a few days in Virginia Beach. Upon arrival we got settled in at our hotel, then went for a walk in an effort to find a bite to eat. Lots of 'beach food' options... until we stumbled across Repeal Bourbon & Burgers. It was very busy whereas most other places were not. We decided to check it out, and boy are we glad we did!! I started with a drink called 'Plymouth Rock' - very good! Our meal included Beef Lettuce Wraps, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, and the Shhhrooms Burger with Truffle Fries.Y'ALL.... our meal was EPIC!!! I mean... look at the pictures!?! RIGHT?!?! SO MUCH FLAVOR in everything we ordered! Very friendly staff, and for how busy they were we got our food VERY quick!Thank you all SO MUCH for giving us a wonderful dining experience!!!!

Not sure I would say 'dive bar' vs small, intimate bar with awesome burgers. They tell it like it is (no highchairs, no kids menu, no chicken wings..etc) & that's fair! We started with caprese salad and split it - good thing because it was a nice portion with terrific flavors. The burgers are done to order with a 'crisp' griddle exterior and a choice of sides - the truffle parmesan fries were grade A. Nice selection of burgers but we went 'classic' and it was on point! A small selection with a decent variety of beers (thankfully not several IPA's) and 'build your own' Manhattan or Old Fashions with a terrific choice of bitters and bourbon. Oh yeah!Did I mention the whiskey flights? Great service (sorry I didn't get her name but my wife loved her earrings) from a personable staff (several of them helped serve) make this one our favorite Va Beach places.
