We heard about this place in Coastal Virginia Magazine and had to give it a try. It did not disappoint. Elizabeth was very accommodating and felt like an old friend. The food was high quality and delicious. We will be back.

The burgers are great! The service was friendly and very helpful. I loved the decor of the place, very beachy. Lots of TVs for sports. The drinks from the bar were very good. Definitely going back.

Everything on the menu is simple and packed with flavor. Blackened Tuna Bites, Bay side Burger with tender crabcake, Kemps Ridley Burger with bacon jam, waffle fries, and sweet potatoe fries with savory cinnamon. This place is built to compete.

This place is great. From the greetings when you walk in the door to the comfortable atmosphere, the fantastic service and best yet the delicious food. And all that for a reasonable price. Stop by, I guarantee you will agree!
Comfortable feeling room.. beautiful service people. Nice front porch. Good happy hour till 6 pm. Specials for football. Burgers and menu items are very good and creative. Live music includes good players who are also songwriters. Restrooms are clean and artwork interesting . A beautiful surfboard is displayed on back wall.

We had been wanting to visit this place because we like burgers just like everyone else does. Sad to say the food was awful. I had a BBQ "smash" burger, but it wasn't a smash burger, it was just a burger. It had BBQ sauce, onions, and red peppers ( I'm not sure they were grilled) I ordered jalapeño hush puppies and they were so sweet they should be on the menu as a dessert. I gave two stars because the drinks were tasty and contained alcohol.

Bugers are really good. Beers are the usual suspects and then some. But still the usual unusual beers. I'd like to see some real craft beers. Service was great. The place has a friendly layout, good size bar, tiki patio and TV's for game day. Oh and a different lunch special every Monday. I'll be back...

I really enjoyed coming to Press- all I can say now is Riptide is horrible. Not about the food.. I am speaking about petty patrons and bartender who do not pay attention when they are speaking or are unaware of those around them.. I cant speak about the food but within 3minutes of being there we got to listen to the bartender and her "bar regulars" talk about a customer who had gone to the Restroom and had the bartender go through the plate she had removed(which I watched, because she walked past us at the end of the bar to get her phone to use the flashlight) Although the bartender-did the right thing and offered to make more the gentleman declined for whatever reason. While the man was gone then mocked him and even when he returned the patrons took turns asking the bartender "I had some bones on my plate last week, can you go look for them" and other such nonsense. Because one of those customers Bryant decided to respond to my review and send me the compliment "go drop dead". I will. Gladly Bryant and all those patrons who belief that it is ok to be mean spirited and say petty things about people and not even care who they around is not a place I would choose to spend another dime in. If asked by anyone I know, or any customer I know where to go, Rip Tide will not be it. For that I am sorry because we would have loved to have tried out one of the burgers.
