Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

i dont know who the young girls name (my receipt says ‘ryan’ so im assuming that's her name) the customer service was terrible she was extremely rude and just not polite at all. gave me wrong order closed the door in my face didnt say anything at all she shouldnt be employed anywhere pertaining to customer service. will never come back.

This location sucks. I’ve been coming to Rita’s since I was a teenager and this year is the first time I’ve been going to this newer built location. Every time I visit there is an issue and the staff all struggle as if they can’t comprehend how to scoop ice into a cup. My orders have been wrong, really wrong…like completely different flavor than I requested as if they just didn’t even try. Sometimes you can order 3 flavors in the same cup, sometimes you can’t and they refuse more than 2…depends on the day and whoever it is taking your order and if they feel like doing it. Even if you literally buy a quart of ice….in the winter time they claim 10pm is their closing time but ignore people in the drive thru or at the walk-up window after 915. Literally will walk by and take the trash out as if they don’t see you standing there. It just seems like this place is very poorly managed and they just don’t care like the old owners/location use to.

I got the Georgia Peach flavor and it was so so tasty!!! I will be trying other flavors. 10/10

Customer Service sucked today whomever is at that window. Attitude sucks.

The taste is the same. I hadn't been there since before 2020. I didn't like that they renamed the black cherry ice as zombie blood. However everything else was the same. The location is also a bit tight.

Was great as usual. Just didn't have my favorite topping Swedish fish at the time will try again later in the summer.

Our family normally frequents the Princess Anne location. We were highly disappointed tonight...we got there i know for sure by atleast 9:50pm, possibly a few minutes before that. There were 4 cars infront of us. At 10 exactly it's our turn to order and the young gal says sorry we're closed! I said we'll that sucks we've been waiting in line atleast 10 mins. So disappointed 😞 Needless to say we took our $50 order to Dairy Queen. And they turned down the two vehicles behind me that were also there in the drive thru BEFORE 10pm. I would recommend finding a way to close off your entrance 15 minutes prior to closing if that's how your business operates!!

I love Rita's. It's a must stop every time I'm nearby one but especially when I'm home in Virginia Beach. My family stopped by the Princess Anne location today and was so disappointed, to say the least. They had 1 person on staff, Lenoya, and she was on the phone the whole time and didn't acknowledge anyone. My family waited patiently for at least 7 minutes and even when trying to grab her attention and flag her down she intentionally looked the other way to ignore them.

My family left and I called them on the phone to which Lenoya finally answered. She was also not pleasant on the phone and instead promptly hung up when I asked her for her name. I will stick to the Rita's on Kempsville.

BEWARE!! I got two gelati’s over the weekend, checked my bank account today, and the amount was higher than my purchase. Did some math and realized the person must’ve put in a 20% tip after I left. Check your receipts and watch your bank account. An unauthorized tip is outright fraud.

I LOVE Rita's but they never stock their sugar free flavors consistently. I have called numerous times to ask if they could, they tell me they will, but never do it. I'm not sure who is in charge of making sure the sugar free flavors are available, but it really needs to be looked into because customers who buy sugar free, have to miss out.

But when you make the effort to go and get disappointed each time at some point you won’t make the effort anymore.

Also, they send out a daily email of their available flavors FOR THE DAY but send it out in the evening when flavors have sold out already and they close in a few hours.

Sorry Rita’s you have lost a customer.

Waited in line for 15 minutes while tge worker serviced everyone at the drive through.
Worker looked at me and never said a thing. I left and will never spend money where is not appreciated

I drove to you princess anne location tonight and got there about 9:35pm. Your app said you close at 10pm. The open sign was still on but no one would say anything at the drive thru. so i pulled forward, two girls inside cleaning and didn’t acknowledge me but preceded to turn the open sign off. One very disappointed i wasn’t able to get our medium gelatos but two that i drove there instead of going home and they closed early. I love Rita’s and miss it being closer , back when it was on Lynnhaven pkwy.
