First time at Sal's. Decent pizza, I wish all non-pork pepperoni was this good. All the meats are pork free. I had one slice, $4. It was decent, with good flavor. Sauce had a nice tang, and the cheese was okay. Not as good as the Benny's chain and perhaps just a bit under Delvecchio's, but a decent slice. Foldable.The service was very nice. People are terrific here, very helpful, and kind. The standard slice condiments were there, and I availed myself off the cheese, cracked red pepper flakes, and a touch of garlic.The dining room was clean and neat with a giant monster dominating the room. I don't know why it's there, but I did enjoy its presence.I would go back. Nice people, lower price point. Better than Marco's across the street, but only just better.Go visit, you won't regret it.Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available.

I wish I could rate Sal's NY Pizzeria located @ 5604 Princess Anne Road 10 stars!Where do I start?#1: The customer service at this location is the best I've experienced at any pizzeria in Virginia Beach. That includes all of their employees!#2: They did an excellent job of helping me organize a next day pickup for a huge pizza party! Not only were they punctual, but all of my items were hot & ready prior to the scheduled pickup time!#3: I absolutely LOVED their meat selection being 100% pork free! Their beef pepperoni and beef+Turkey sausage had better flavor than their pork counterparts.#4: I loved their variety of pizza combinations and flavors. It's unlike anything I've ever seen! You can do any combination of half & half pizzas even if they're 2 different sauces.
If you're craving some good pizza you can't go wrong with Sal's. They've got the best(in my opinion) New York style pizza here in Hampton Roads. I love their different varieties of pizzas and all the flavors. Just the perfect pie!

We got the margherita pizza, BBQ wings (asked for crispy) and a cheesesteak. Everything was delicious! The crust on the pizza was not too thick and it was crispy, good amount of toppings and flavorful (we added the provided spices), wings were crispy and flavorful with lots of meat on them, and the cheesesteak was flavorful and tender! And we had lots of leftovers. Staff at the order desk were super helpful and friendly. Will be back again for our pizza fix!

First time ordering from here and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Enjoyed the large slices of pizza. Our whole dinner was great! Definitely will be eating here again!

Arrived late in Virginia Beach and was hungry. Called a couple of pizza locations and they all thought it was too late to deliver. It was only 8:30pm. The guys at Sal's were great. Got the pizza quickly and it was spot on! Thank you to Sal's Pizzaria. The young lady who delivered the pizza was quick, smiling and the pizza was excellent. Check them out.
