I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at Shadowlawn Eats. Everything that touched my tongue was absolutely delicious! Even the mozz sticks and hush puppies were notably tasty. I ordered the steak bites app, medium rare, and I received PERFECTLY MEDIUM RARE (!!!) steak bites with an absolutely awesome garlic aioli. The crab cakes entree was absolutely to die for, with tender Brussels sprouts and crispy home fries with a chipotle dipping sauce that slapped. The servers were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, the music was a chill vibe, and the atmosphere was cozy without being claustrophobic. Top it all off with prices that are more-than-reasonable! I always look for negatives to add, but in this case I couldn't find one. Bravo, Shadowlawn Eats!

I’ve been coming to this bar every other Sunday. Everytime we get Devon G there’s an issue. Last time it just wasn’t good service. This time - the deal says ‘ALL DAY SUNDAY’ $1 wings I came in 30 mins before the game started which hasn’t been an issue in the past but this time she changed me full price saying ‘that deal is only when the games are on’. I think management needs to discuss what ALL DAY means to this employee or change the special on the website. Then she says ‘we can’t do military discount with the $1 wings’. Every other server we’ve had puts both deals. Just disappointed.

The best sports bar in Virginia Beach! Awesome specials that change regularly, but the normal menu is top notch. They also serve great options from local vendors like Waterman’s Spirits and The Juggernaut cookie company.

Devon and Tristen took care of my wife and I. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted. The customer service was excellent, the drinks were poured great, conversations good, and the food was prime. It’s a good restaurant if you want a local spot to visit.

As a frequent patron, I really appreciate the atmosphere of this dive. The staff is friendly and humorous, the food is consistently delicious and well prepared, Monday nights are trivia nights, it truly is a great experience.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are handi cap parking spots right out front, and there is a ramp for easy accessibility.

This place is horrible; I do not recommend this place at all. My family and I went there and ordered Calamari. It was an awful appetizer, did not have flavor, and chewed like bubble gum. The fish of the day was tuna. Only one tuna steak was on the plate, which was dry and had no flavor. My other meal was Braised short ribs, grease cut of meat, this time salty. The bartender, who was also our server, was dirty, his name is Joshua; I know we are experiencing a shortage in this industry, but hygiene should be priority, primarily if you work with food. The place is small and does not look presentable; the parking lot is awful and tight. I do not recommend this place.

This spot is legit. Awesome atmosphere and great eats. Josh, Matt and Ivan are awesome killing IT in the kitchen and behind the bar. I will definitely be back to this spot. Love

True neighborhood bar/restaurant. Owner knew a lot of patrons and patrons knew servers. If owner's in a good mood, he might but you a beer. Cuban had all the ingredients and was tasty enough. Cheese curds seemed popular. Has live music some nights.

We stopped in at this little hole in the wall to grab something to eat and watch the game. We really enjoyed the food and the relaxed atmosphere. I had the tuna sandwich. It was tender and flavorful. And, the tostadas my mom had were authentic! The refried beans are homemade!! My husband had the fish and chips and said it was crunchy and light. We will definitely be back!!
