I am very torn.... Frequented often prior to new management went for the first time after re-opening. I have ordered the hotdog there for years and heard it had changed.. so I was a little confused when after I placed my order, there was another one on the flip side of the menu. So before our server left the table, I pointed out the other one and he said no problem "I got you". I did add bacon and avocado only to discover the bacon is actually pork belly which I would have never ordered had I known.... So I asked about it only to be told that was their signature bacon. That would have been nice to know I told him... Confused by that as the BLT in the past has regular bacon on it.... Then when I got the bill, I had to question him on the rocks add of $3 as rocks is typically ice. He explained that it was because I ordered vodka on the rocks makes it a larger pour. Ok fine... but then he proceeds to tell me he will be more than happy to adjust my bill and charge me more for the larger pour. I simply stated I just wanted to understand the bill. Which then followed up from him I had been giving him crap all night. I spoke to him when I ordered and when I questioned the couple of things. That's it. I have never not tipped anyone in my life I told last night. And I felt compelled to say why on the check in hopes that someone would read it.... Only to be followed up with "I was no longer welcomed here." I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant. I will go back as I do love the food! And normally the service.

What a great spot! The vibes are amazing, the staff is so friendly, and the food is simple but well done. Bartender really knows his stuff, which is a huge plus for me. I'll definitely be back to check out the patio once it warms up a little!

I’m coming from FL visiting family and friends and came across this restaurant via google. I’m glad I did! The food was excellent! I recommend the crab cake. They have a kids menu, which was important to us as we had 3 with us. The service was amazing! I can’t remember the bartenders name who helped us but he was attentive and kind. The cooks were super friendly as well. They are under new management so they are revamping everything. I would def go back!

This restaurant is under new ownership and is currently in a soft opening with a limited menu. The food is delicious, the drinks are unique, and the staff is wonderful. So far I’ve had the buffalo chicken sando , mozzarella logs, and hush puppies. All three were amazing. Definitely recommend checking it out and I look forward to the more expanded menu at their grand opening in April!

So this review is for the newly opened and under new management Shadowlawn Eats. It's small but a great vibe. They extended the bar and still have a stage area. They are making more changes in the future....I saw the back area - didn't even know that existed. The menus are on paper because they are still working on adding to the menu. We spoke to Kelly for a long time and she was wonderful!!! I loved that she wanted feedback. I like the menu - it seems to fit the place. More casual and bar type food and shareables. A few of us ordered the peanut butter crushin and they loved it!!!! This was my 2nd time here - the 1st time Josh was bartending and he was also excellent!! I didn't come here much before because it just wasn't my favorite but I definitely like it more now - it feels like a different vibe and I would definitely come back. I want to try those tuna bites. :) The only thing is the parking lot is still small but they have no control over that.

Great BLT, very crispy smokey bacon with delicious buttery toast and juicy fresh veggies. The fries here are also very crispy and substantial. Happy hour offers better beer prices than most restaurants in the immediate area. Our server was friendly and helpful and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were taken care of. Consider a visit if you're in the area. Would recommend.
