Veal medallions were 10/10. Ambiance is romantic with dimmed lighting and service is wonderful! First time trying this place and it is already a favorite of ours. Cannot wait to go back!

True Italian food!!!!!
Tried to come here for Mom’s bday. Made a reservation and stood there for 20 min and basically brushed off. Also got a message saying “sorry you didn’t WANT to wait” did realize we made a reservation for waiting. How about sorry you HAD to wait. Terrible service. Mom was upset. Wish it was still Beckets not a real local place.

Heard great things about Sirena, so six of us met up for dinner. We all ordered drinks and were catching up so we didn’t look at the menu right away. After only 15-20 minutes of being there, our server had the manager come up to us to warn us that we only have the table for two hours and there are people waiting. It was incredibly rude-we were all shocked and felt so rushed. In addition to that, when they packed up our leftovers we all got the wrong ones. None of us will be dining at Sirena again.

We are foodies and this place is amazing. The antipasto was spot on, the house made bread was incredible. My wife got the carbonara which was the best ever and I had the Salmon special which was cooked perfectly. The owner was bouncing around greeting everyone and chatting which was great to see. We will be back soon. Great job!!!

The server was super kind, but the chef has lost his touch.
This was not a taste of Italy. It was inauthentic and lackluster at best.
Spaghetti alle vongole was more like a poorly emulsified aglio olio with clams.
The wine was bottom shelf Italian wine charged up 300%.
The host was too busy drinking wine and laughing with guests that he didnt notice us waiting for our table at the front for 25 minutes. Even with a reservation.

Dietary restrictions: The menu made mention to advise of restrictions due to food allergies or intolerance. After doing so I was told there are no gluten free pastas available. Little bit of a bummer after years of celiac & enjoying GF pasta in many areas of Italy on multiple trips. It did not detract from the delicious octopus & Caesar salad. The ceaser is outstanding & not laden with garlic or over run by grated cheese. It’s delicate & delicious. Thanks for the most authentic Italian I’ve experienced in the area.

A real hidden treasure .... small and intimate ... low lighting ... quiet. The service is very prompt and knowledgeable ... but the food ... of my ... Every meal is a special treat. We have never been disappointed! I would recommend to anyone!

Genuine Italian food. Not Italian American, no meat balls or chicken parm. Only the real deal.

What a lovely unassuming establishment! You can tell there were plenty of regulars visiting on this Friday evening. Service was excellent, the food was probably the closest in authenticity we had, in comparison to the food I have had in Italy. The bread was soft and perfect with their olive oil/balsamic/rosemary dip. Each of our entrees were cooked perfectly, and the desserts were also really good. The only thing I wish that was done was to disclose that the tartufo dessert had nuts in it (I think hazelnuts). Luckily my son and I switched desserts and he preferred the tiramisu anyway. All in all, we will definitely be back.
Fabio, the owner was so nice. I had the pasta with clams, and he gave it to me exactly the way I like it! 10/10. The food was amazing. My husband said he ate everything on his plate. We had a wonderful time thank you so much for the wonderful meal.

By reservation only. Do not walk in. Open table reservation exists in most restaurants these days, but not this one. The mean Hostess will not even greet you just a question "Do you have reservation?" If this is your first time and want to try, you are out of luck. You need to call the owner and leave a message but don't expect a return call because they only text. Funny, it was empty yet they still require reservation when we came. We have been to most Italian Restaurants in the area from Aldo's, Isle of Capri, IL Giardino etc...never been treated this bad. Nor this hard.
Best Italian restaurant in Hampton Roads. This is as close as I’ve tasted to the food in Italy. Outstanding.
