I know it is not a 5 star but we come back every year for the winter igloo experience. It is a great time with limited options but that should be understood for the experience mostly. Get to see the lights on the boardwalk and also have a somewhat private outing great for the season. Valet was included with the reservation and able to have pre-order options for quick availabilty of eats and drinks!

Beautiful place. Have been here four times for a nonexistent neon pool party event. No one answers the phone for this at all. We call before we go. Last night they had it posted on the website, but when we got there nobody knew anything. Will not be going back there. Keep the refund.

Beautiful view, nice looking bar with pool access, however, drinks were average, music was horrible. No one is allowed to sit near beautiful view unless you purchase bottle service, not nice!
Drinks are a joke. Pina colada tasted absolutely nothing like pina colada, barely any flavor, and certainly couldn't taste the rum. The pirates punch drink was no better. High prices, abysmal quality. Hire the bar staff from the Hilton at Clearwater Beach, they know how to make drinks.
What's with the terrible poolside music? Some kind of 1960s psychedelic or something? Why not at least some '70s '80s '90s? At least something from those decades preferably some beach related stuff as well?

The bartenders were fantastic, getting our drinks out quickly. I ordered the Staycation, and it was absolutely delicious! The cozy ambiance made for a perfect evening, and I truly loved the breathtaking views. Not a lot of people for a Friday night, which made it even more enjoyable.

Workers are rude and condescending, drinks are not very good either.
Bartenders were great, all very sweet & got drinks done very quick. Haven’t tried the food. One of the bouncers was awful. Complete jerk. He didn’t even let us leave with the remainder of our drinks & took mine out of my hands & threw it away as I was trying to finish it so we can leave. I know it’s a club atmosphere but it’s still very unprofessional & definitely isn’t part of his job.

Had a nice experience here. Staycation and pirate punch were great. The view is phenomenal. Our bartender Mary Grace was welcoming, kind, and had good recommendations for the rest of our stay in VB. Will check out the night club if weather permits.
The hostess and waitress were a delight. The food was not. Honestly the dumplings as an app were tasty. The hamburger was on a stale bun, the pizza tasted like it was microwaved , and the fish tacos were cold and the fish was not a good texture. It took quite a while for the food to come, very disappointed in the quality.
Your website says 11pm close
Your google says closes 10 pm
And your GD door says closes 9pm
Its current 9:36pm, and guess which one was right?

Great experience in the igloo. My only downside was the time, when you get settled and start having fun, your time is over.
Maybe of it’s free i would give an extra star. But for $80 not even 2 hours time, we were waiting forever for drinks, then food took so much time also. We ordered pork belly bao, i mean why is it even called pork belly if there is only a little tiny piece of meat? Lasagna dip was good though. The server came every 30 minutes, and right after her another server. Each time. There is a tiny heater and it was a cold night so we were freezing there.
I do not recommend this place. Unprofessional security unlawfully seized my drivers license thinking it was fake, which it was not. It wasn’t until they realized that the police were on the way when the sleazy management were forced to give it back. Bouncer was also disrespectful to a group of military guys in front of me. So I definitely wouldn’t support this place. The Shack is a much better bar that seems to have security with a little more brains.
I never thought I’d be writing such a review, but my recent experience at SkyBar left me absolutely disgusted. This place is not just a poorly run establishment; it’s a disgrace.
First and foremost, the staff illegally seized the ID of a 22-year-old friend of mine without any valid reason. This is not just unprofessional—it’s outright illegal. They had no authority to confiscate an ID, yet they did so with a smug attitude, leaving my friend humiliated and stranded.
But the worst part? The staff had the audacity to mock the military. My friend, a proud service member, was treated with absolute disrespect. The employees made derogatory remarks about the military, showing an appalling lack of decency and respect for those who serve our country. This behavior is beyond unacceptable—it’s offensive and downright despicable.
The rooftop views might be nice, but they’re not worth subjecting yourself to the vile attitudes and illegal practices of the staff here. If you value your dignity, steer clear of SkyBarThere are plenty of other places in the city where you can enjoy a night out without having your rights trampled on or your service disrespected.
Avoid this place at all costs. They don’t deserve your business.

Didn’t get let in because of a “fake id” we’re all at least 27-31. When we asked for a second verification or scanner he said no he just “had a feeling”. All other security said it was fine. Would reconsider security staffing or provide better training / a scanner . Congrats on losing the only people there at 10;30 on a Friday.
