I found myself in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and in need of a beer. There are 13 craft brewery places here, and Smartmouth Brewery was the closest to my hotel and within ealking distance. There is a nice selection of beers here with oven baked pizza available.

Spacious Virginia Beach brewery with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have an on-site pizza kitchen to get your munchy fix.The beers were pretty solid. The hazy IPAs like the Silent L and the Savage Mondo were very good. My favorite was the Tiny Changes Apricot saison.Lots of parking out front, definitely make it a stop if you are in the Va Beach area.

We have lived right across the street from smart mouth for 2 years. Today was my very first time in, it happened to be happy hour, the golf lager is amazing + the party beer. PIZZA is amazing. I prefer a thin crust and Man, it’s perfect!! Customer service was great.

We rented the back area of pilot house for a wedding welcome party and had the best experience. Staff was all incredibly nice and went above and beyond for us. If you’re thinking of doing an event, I highly recommend Smartmouth. I didn’t catch the name of the bartenders that were helping us, but they were both exceptionally nice and it was overall a great value. The beers, seltzer, and non-alcoholic options were all excellent. Everyone thought it was such a great venue and event. Thanks to the staff for such an awesome experience!
