I never leave reviews. But this Sonic is the worst experience. Rude staff, food is messed up everytime (I’ve been there 3-5 times in the last 2 months, incredibly slow and today our shakes were melted after leaving the drive thru and they said “it is what it is” highly recommend if you’re in the mood for Sonic to go somewhere else. 0/10

Normally have no issues but today we sat at a stall with the button active for 10 min with no answer. Went to the drive through and she was rude. Pulled up to the window and was not greeted or anything until she rudely asked if we wanted ketchup. Never gave us her name or anything. Middle aged white woman with brown hair. Just not great. Was looking forward to a nice breakfast after working since 9pm the previous night and it kinda sucked.

Service from the window was Absolutely Horrible. No Customer Service at all! I asked for a cup holder and the guy in the window couldn't even open it. He just handed it to me. Absolutely Rude!

If I could give zero stars I would. This is my second time giving them a chance cause they are close to my job and they have disappointed me both times. Most recently they served me old reheated burnt chicken strips....at this point I will never go back to this location. And the drive through cashier was rude

They never answered the car hop side. Waited there for five minutes with the button pressed. Had to do the drive in and that took 20 minutes. Had to turn off my car engine so I wouldn't waste gas just idling.
Then they just forgot the drinks entirely.
Had to do the drive in again just to get our drinks, and they told us to wait in line again....

It took another 10 minutes just to get the drinks.

Absolutely worst experience. No apologies or anything.

Seems one guy is on duty doing everything from taking orders to dealing with the cars on the lot.
Messed up my order didn’t include the water I asked for. Then informed me the water had a charge if I wanted water all this AFTER I gave a $2 tip on a $9 order…

This place is horrible! I ordered 5 chicken strips - that's it. Nothing complicated. I waited forever at the intercom to place the order, tried to get the person on the other end to acknowledge that she heard it, then had another giant wait (I was the only car) just to get the chicken. However when I got home, I opened my bag to find just a very small bag of fries (which I did not order). I didn't go back, because I felt physically bad, having just come from the doctor after fainting. I needed to get some quick protein, and this was the closest place. Safe to say, that did not happen, and someone else got the order I paid for. Your cashiers are barely literate - please get someone from Chik-Fil-A to come and train them. Getting the right food to the right people with an EMPTY drive-thru is the bare minimum of service, and they couldn't do that.

Worst experience ever with a Sonic. My son requested Sonic for lunch. We parked in a stall, waited 10 minutes, and never got an answer through the speaker. We moved to a second stall, waited 5 minutes, never got an answer. I finally drove through the drive thru just to get service, and literally sat for over ten minutes at the speaker and once again... no service. People were literally pulling in and leaving due to lack of service. When I finally left (following the rest of your would-be patrons to the Burger King across the street), there was one car waiting in a stall. Absolutely no reason we could not be acknowledged. I couldn't even rate the food since we never got any. While not the lunch he wanted, we finally got lunch at Burger King.

Sat across from drive thru window at the car hop spot pressed red bottom...20 min later I leave cause nobody answered call button or came out to tell me anything or ask anything just ignored me.. and last time I was here I had to go to drive thru twice cause they messed up my food twice

OK, so February of 2024 they had 1.99 double cheeseburgers. I went to get some at 4889 Virginia Beach Blvd on 3 occasions that month. Every time at least half if not all of the burgers I got had dried out burger patties with a dark, dry, crunchy outer ring on the patties (i have pics). The 2nd or 3rd time it happened I sent a pic to the Sonic fb page. They didn't seem to care. So I just stopped going, and I didn't for almost a year until yesterday. I saw they had 1.99 double cheeseburgers on Monday, so I got 5 for me and everyone at the house. All of them were dried out af! Even worse than last year! The kicker is I had to wait 22 minutes to get them! Not even busy, no drive in customers and 4 cars ahead of me in line when I got there at 5:10. Didn't get to the window till 5:26. Then had to pull up and wait another 6 minutes till 5:32 to get the food after paying. I remember thinking at least they'd be fresh and not old and dried out like last year. Just to get home and find out they were even WORSE! Like totally dried out and hard burger patties, and they even smelled bad! Just what the hell are they doing in there taking all that time to bag up some burgers that were clearly made hours prior to my visit? Or is this just how Sonic burgers are?
