South Beach Pizza

I moved from Kempsville to Birdneck in February 2024, I found South Beach Pizza and I have since ordered only from them because they are reliable, all the food they advertise is as good as it looks on the menu. Since then, they have been the backbone of good Italian pizza and pasta, etc. around the upcoming events at the Sportsplex and the new “Pavilion” Center. This area where they are located is upcoming and becoming very popular. I highly recommend this place because I was born and raised here in Virginia Beach and very impressed👍🙏😉❤️ Anne W.

We ordered takeout and I have never been more underwhelmed regarding a meal in my life. We ordered a large white cheese pizza that hardly had any ricotta cheese on it, garlic knots that had no flavor and were hard as a rock, a chicken quesadilla with no flavor unless you dipped it in the red sauce and a buffalo chicken sub that just spicy and no flavor. I spent $68 on food that we aren’t even going to eat and I can’t get my money back for. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

This was our eggplant Parmesan and calamari. The eggplant was baked into the bottom of the foil, burnt and stuck on. Spaghetti dumped on top with lots of cheese. If you think this is fooling anyone, guess again. First and last time.

Extremely disappointed I ordered three slices they were all undercooked and old dough. one of the slices was literally just half of a slice broken up. The inside of the restaurant was dark and unwelcoming. Definitely won’t be ordering again but despite that the flavors were decent.
