I had an extremely disappointing experience this afternoon at the Harris Teeter Starbucks in Virginia Beach. After starting a long road trip at 6 a.m. and finally arriving in Virginia Beach, I was looking forward to a refreshing beverage to start my vacation on a good note. Unfortunately, the drink I received was practically undrinkable.

I ordered a Cold Brew with four pumps of caramel, an extra shot of espresso, and 2% milk. What I was served, however, was essentially a watered-down iced coffee. When I approached the staff about the issue, expecting they would be eager to make things right, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness instead.

There were three staff members present, yet only one was willing to speak with me. She handed me a stirrer and told me the caramel was “at the bottom,” which felt condescending since I had already stirred the drink myself before approaching them. After stirring it again, the drink still tasted just as bad. With an audible sigh and a grimace, she reluctantly agreed to add another pump of caramel but instructed me to open the cup myself. She then splashed the caramel into my drink, which ended up spilling onto my hands.

As someone who has been a loyal Starbucks customer for many years, this experience left me questioning the quality of service and customer care. What should have been a simple, enjoyable moment instead turned into frustration and disappointment, casting a negative shadow over the start of my vacation.

I liked it. Typical satellite SB you find in other stores, so the typical but known SB products. Single employee manning the counter, but super efficient and friendly, which always makes the pitstop pleasant.

Where’s the tag that says “crappy coffee” or “not filled to the top”? My first order was watery and the second wasn’t filled to the top. What a rip off!! If I ordered a Grande it’s because I want the much coffee. Not a “tall”size with the rest whipped cream!! Do NOT go to this Starbucks!

I will give simply one star to this coffee shop whenever I order ice coffee they fil the glass till the top with ice and no place is left for the drink I hardly get half glass after spending $5 I’ve got a glass filled with ice and hardly any drink inside. I had to buy one more without the ice and the guy was looking me dead in the eyes lol
