Definitely one of the best Starbucks locations I've been to recently. I typically get the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino, which I've noticed varies in quality a lot based on the location. The one here was great though. The staff was very friendly as well.

This is my favorite location by far that I have been to not only Virginia Beach but at the United States. I usually make it out there on Friday evenings and, the crew on Friday nights make my visits exceptional without fail. Christy is the best at making drinks and if I had a coffee shop, I would definitely hire her in a heartbeat. go and check this location out.

This place is unlike any other Starbucks I have ever visited (and I have visited 100's). This place truly represents the vision Howard Schultz had for recreating the warm and inviting neighborhood Italian coffee shop. The employees are nothing short of amazing every day. They know your name. They are happy to see you. They enjoy their jobs and enjoy getting to know their customers. If Starbucks is serious about getting back to their roots, they should look no further than modeling what happens here.

Special shout out to MacKenzie and Shelby for always being so awesome and Makayla for always being so sweet and for this awesome birthday treat today (see pic). Really I could shout out everyone here, because the awesome culture is exemplified by everyone you interact with.

The Red Mill Commons was the kindest, most welcoming and friendly store ive ever been in. This store deserves a huge shoutout for not only doing everything quickly but for standing out with personality!

This store is actually really cool. The staff were friendly and attentive. Updated review: the barista made the best lavender matcha latte by far. The foam is so creamy and other store rank couldn’t beat it.

The staff here are the friendliest of any Starbucks I have ever been to and I have probably been to 25 of them. Super fast too. Such a great bunch of folks here. A breath of fresh air! Just wish they were directly next to us at the Book Exchange!

Love the Peppermint Hot Chocolates. Reaina, one of the cashiers, was especially amazing. She was kind and engaged, and made the whole transaction a overall positive experience.

I visited this place twice in one day. First time I went, I had great service and was also genuinely happy to see that Starbucks posted hand washing steps on their hand dryer (which is odd, but I was still happy to see it nonetheless). Reason being because an employee at the Wawa I had just been at hadn't washed their hands after using the restroom, so I was happy to see Starbucks cared a lot about hygiene (and it's not stuck up to be happy that the people who are handling your food actually wash their hands, nor to express thankfulness for it).

I posted genuine compliments to Google (even if they were a bit odd), and yet when I returned to do a bulk order for some people at work that afternoon, the lady working the coffee station was very rude and pointed a finger gun at me and proceeded to make shooting sounds with her mouth. She also intentionally and vigorously pumped way too much syrup into one of the cups, and then said she didn't care I was leaving.

I was actually nothing but polite to them the whole time, both times, and if I had given them a 5 star review earlier in the day, they should have known that my compliments were genuine, despite how odd they were (for example, I stated I was thankful about the cashier asking about how many pumps of syrup I wanted in my London Fog Tea; I didn't even know it has pumps of syrup, and I'm trying to cut back on sugar, so this really helped me).

I'm not sure how anything I did came off as stuck up, when I had a polite tone, said both please and thank you, read the bulk order from my phone, etc. If the issue was the review I posted earlier in the day, they should have realized that I was giving genuine praise being that the review was 5 stars.

It's like I want to apologize, because I see the person in the review below mine essentially made me out to be a horrible person; but at the same time, I know I was nothing but polite and gave genuine compliments (again, they may have been odd, but they were genuine).

So I AM actually genuinely sorry if I came off other than polite in my initial review, because my only intention was to express thanks and praise; but I wish they had asked me about it or something so I could explain it to them, rather than believing I was intending to be rude (especially being that my original review was 5 stars). My intention was nothing but good towards them. I was genuinely thankful for the help and that they care about cleanliness.

Amazing service and great staff. Unfortunately, the whole experience was ruined by Anna-Lise or something like that. She was the worst human being I’ve ever encountered and believed her self to be high and mighty. She treated the staff terribly and if she never made an appearance at this Starbucks ever again, all parties involved would be happier for it.

My wife and I come to this Starbuck everyday and know the baristas well. They are the best barista and people in general. They are the reason we come to this starbucks. They are genuinely happy and caring people with everyone they come in contact with regular customers or new. Everyone gets the same outstanding and caring service.
