Unfortunately, this morning, I came to the 242 Laskin Road #31 VB VA 23451. I walked up to the counter (with no waiting) and I said good morning to the cashier, Ainsley. She looked at me and said “move down here” and waived her hand to the other cash register. I moved down and waited for a greeting. Instead, I was met with “what can I get you.” No smile. No warmth. Nothing. I proceeded to order, which I had to repeat twice. She asked if that was all and I mentioned that customer service could be better. THIS WAS A SECOND OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE THE EXPERIENCE. She just handed me my receipt and turned and walked away.

Like I said, I have come to this store numerous times (although it is not my home location). Everyone has been great, until now. And, even asking for how to contact management, the other staff members were friendly and helpful.

It is a shame that one has to ruin it for the whole group. And, she is definitely the rotten apple ruining the bushel.

20 minutes waiting, seems like they only care about the drive thru customer. This is why dunking donuts is better… there coffee isn’t as good but hey at least they give it to you. No cream cheese with the bagels. And they can’t even put the lids on all the way… booo get better

When we walked through the door, she immediately looked at us in a strange way that made us feel unwelcome, almost like she didn’t even want us there. She seemed annoyed from the start and clearly didn’t want to take our order, showing no effort to provide service. The way she stared at us was uncomfortable and disrespectful, and it was obvious that her behavior wasn’t just about having a bad day—it came across as racist. The combination of her attitude, her unwillingness to serve us, and the way she looked at us made it clear that we were being treated unfairly simply because of who we are, and that kind of treatment is unacceptable.

Nice location, nicely spaced out with enough chairs to sit and enjoy your drink or snack. Perfect location. It’s only a block away from the beach. Should visit with family and kids

We came at a busy time but 40 minutes for two flat whites is extreme. We were shrugged at when inquiring with staff after 30 minutes why our order was taking so long. People who came in well after us were leaving with drinks in hand. Our coffees were also requested with blonde espresso and were not made correctly. Disappointing to say the least.
