I went to this restaurant a few weeks back while visiting VA Beach, VA. Everything about this place was good. The atmosphere, the wait staff, management, and most of all the FOOD! I highly recommend this establishment.

An Unforgettable Dinner at Steinhilber’s – Exceptional from Start to Finish

My husband and I recently dined at Steinhilber’s Restaurant, and from the first sip of our cocktails to the last bite of dessert, everything about our evening was absolutely wonderful.

The setting is timeless and elegant, nestled in a quiet, scenic spot that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a well-kept secret. It’s the kind of place that makes an ordinary night feel like a special occasion.

We started with drinks – I had a pomegranate martini that was both vibrant and perfectly balanced, and my husband enjoyed a refreshing pineapple Moscow mule that had just the right kick.

For dinner, I chose the fried red snapper served with mashed potatoes and broccolini, and I can honestly say it was one of the best seafood dishes I’ve had in a long time. The fish was delicately crisp on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside, and the sides complemented it beautifully. My husband ordered a steak cooked medium rare with roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach, and it was flawless – juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection.

We finished the meal with dessert – a warm, comforting apple pie that felt like fall in every bite. I also took home the chocolate lava cake, which didn’t last long once we got home! It was rich, gooey, and totally worth the indulgence.

The service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly, and the pacing of the meal allowed us to really enjoy each course without ever feeling rushed.

Steinhilber’s is more than just a restaurant – it’s an experience, and one we’ll be happily returning to. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want an unforgettable meal, this place delivers.

This restaurant is amazing. I finally visited for the first time recently and sat outside on their beautiful patio. The ambience was so peaceful and worth the visit alone. The food was fantastic. The drinks, bread, and main course were perfect. I ordered the shrimp which was worth the hype. The others in my party enjoyed their filet mignon as well. The service was so classy and top tier, something you don't find many places. We felt like royalty. I do not usually like fine dining, but this was a worthwhile experience. I will definitely be back.

This is such an amazing place to experience. They have beautiful indoor and outdoor lake front scenic views and incredible dishes. Their cocktails were also very good and the service was beyond amazing. The whole experience was outstanding. I had the lobster ravioli, peach mojito and crème brûlée for dessert while enjoying their beautiful flower decorated patio.

Thank you so much to Steinhilber's Restaurant for the amazing food and service for my mother’s birthday dinner. The food was PERFECT! The short rib risotto was the best dish I’ve had to date! Our waitress MJ was a class act! She was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu! She was was personable and kind! And pretty!! 😍 I will have to call this one of the best nights out for my Mom!

We were recently here for a private party. Julia was absolutely warm/gracious/professional. We will be returning to celebrate many more occasions. CAPT. and Mrs. Kurt Kastner USN (Ret.)

We ate at Steiny's yesterday and, as usual, everything was great. Fresh striper and salmon, cooked superbly. And the experience sparkles because of the fine staff, I note particularly Emily and MJ, who kept the wineglass filled and the space filled with their beauty and friendliness.

Me and my sister went here for the first time it was for her birthday, the food was great, the vibe, and the staff. Mj was a big help and I will be coming back.

Overall I enjoyed a relaxed high-end dining experience here. The steak was excellent and flavors paired to it within the mashed potatoes and vegetables were a satisfying match. The building is surprisingly spacious and the views were beautiful for the night.

The Atmosphere is lovely, with candles on tables, tablecloths and a warm and cozy setting. The tables are a bit close together though. The service was excellent, and the food was very good, although the she crab soup was only warm, not hot. Also the crab cake, although tasty, was small for the high price. The fried shrimp were excellent.

Parking: There are limited handicap spaces, but lots of parking for others.
