Surf Rider North

The food was good and our waiter was on it, the broccoli hollandaise sauce is always a good choice!! The fish in the broil platter was bland and the crab cake taste a little different from the last time I had it. It was a bit loose and not really firm if that makes sense, but other than that everything else was good!

My family and I enjoyed a perfect meal at Surf Rider on New Year's Day. The service was quite exceptional. I cannot remember our waitress' name, but she was very attentive. The food came out quickly (partially due to the empty dining room, I'm sure) and was AMAZING! The whole family was pleased with the experience.My only gripe, and it's minor and has nothing to do with the food or service, is the decor. It's pretty dated and every single picture needs to be straightened. Like I said, minor gripe.If you want some great seafood with a friendly experience, this is the place for you!

We had our Company Christmas Party here in their private room.(28) people - Crystal took care of us. She was Fantastic!! Her attention to detail was evident in everything she did. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was festive, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. Can't say enough good things about Surf Rider and Crystal. We will definitely be back !!

Each restaurant is unique. Surf Rider has several locations. This one has a more laid-back atmosphere. The food, as with all of them, is excellent. It can seem a little pricey, but well worth it.

From start to finish this place was great. Our sever Rachel was great. Lump crab cakes were worth every penny. Fried oysters totally awesome. And who wouldn't be happy without some shrimp tacos..Soooo good.Restaurant has that old school family friendly atmosphere and amazing food..Get it!!!!

Parking: Plenty of parking. You can even put a 53" trailer in the lot

We had a great time tonight with friends. There were 10 of us that were able to get together tonight. Others from the group weren't available to join us. The service and food were very good. Reasonable prices.

A classic seaside seafood place. Lots of fried options, hush puppies with everything! I had grilled salmon fillets which were excellent, served with the largest broccoli floret I have ever seen.Waitress took great care of our 3-generation 8-top group, very fast, charming, and attentive.A solid four stars!

Great fresh seafood. The broccoli side is almost a full head of broccoli, the hollandaise sauce that goes with it is fantastic. We have been going to this restaurant for 25 plus years. The only thing I would change is have she crab soup back on the menu. Last night was broccoli cheddar with crab, just not the same.They don't take reservations. Would highly recommend.

The food was amazing.. the portions were wow ? and the service was awesome... was hanging out with some of my NSU college alumni friends and we had a great time...

Not sure how this Cypress location gets good reviews. It’s like a completely different place compared to their other locations. Our waitress kept calling us her “friends”. Well, if you were my friend you would have checked on us during the meal. Our appetizers and meals came out basically at the same time. And everything was cold except for my fish. Our food was as cold as the temperature inside the restaurant. Not sure what the thermostat was set at, it was too low. The atmosphere was bad as well. The inappropriate R&B that was blaring throughout the place was annoying.I don’t mind spending money on a good meal and I am typically an over tipper… I had a hard time leaving my “friend “ a $4 tip. If she would have checked on us I would have had the opportunity for them to make our meal right. We have been there three times now. Strike three!

This restaurant is a nice place to stop in with a friend and have a casual lunch. I had the shrimp tacos and my friend had the flounder lunch plate.. It's a nice spot to relax and enjoy and enjoy a good lunch. The staff is nice and very helpful. We will be back. When you have to wait for a seat mid-week, it's a good sign. ?

We went there for dinner. It was our first experience there since the one we went to in Chesapeake closed. We were looking forward to crab legs, but they were not on the menu. My wife ordered the crab plate and I ordered steak and shrimp. My wife said her crab was very bland, and my steak was undercooked so i had to have them re-cook. No discount was offered. The prices are really up from before. We also had 2 alcoholic drinks that we felt were alcohol free. The waitress was great, but still not worth it. We won't be back.

My favorite joint for fresh seafood. Pink Whitney martini is my favorite drink there and love all their apps! Always end dinner with the coconut custard pie and coffee. So good!

The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. The service was fast. We had a scallops special that was very fairly priced and the portions were good. Thank you

I was hoping for a menu with more variety and it was more expensive than I thought it would be . I have been to other places with similar seafood themes. If you do plan to go here look at the menu and prices prior to heading out. The staff was friendly and attentitive as can be. I will continue exploring seafood restaurants and sharing my experiences.
