I am literally heartbroken to see they have shut their doors. My husband and I would travel over two hours just to eat here. So disappointed:(

Excellent sushi and friendly service. All you can eat is worth the price if you're hungry!

Sadly, they are closed. Went there today for lunch and they are auctioning everything inside.

Had a great time at Sushi Masa! The staff greeted us as we came in and explained the delicious menu. This is an all you can eat sushi place , so be prepared to eat eat eat! I started off with gyoza and cucumber salad as an appetizer. The gyoza was yummy and the cucumber salad was okay. The sushi I really loved ! It was tasty and fresh. They give plenty of dipping sauces. The place is spacious, dim lighting, and neutral colors. Facilities were clean. Parking was fairly easy, it's located in a popular shopping center area. I'd go back!

I took my girlfriend here for a date and the server was amazing. Sweetest lady ever, and the service screamed passionate family owned buisiness. My girlfriend ordered a sprite and they only have cans, but instead of just a can she got a glass with ice and a straw with it. I appreciate little efforts like that especially in local buisiness. Food was great, fully recommend.

For the money. Wethink it is best valve in the area. We have tried multiple others in and around Kempsville. But always come back. Eat there 3-4 times a month. But don't tell anybody. Lol

Great food, a little slow on the service but overall the food made up for it.

I like they have a lunch buffet though I ordered take out as I wasn't prepared to sit and eat. I had the shrimp tempura bento. Miso soup was good for restaurant. And I find it was a good size for the price. Very tasty. The sumai was a little soft in texture. My daughter got gyosa, and sushi rolls. She said flavor was good.

My coworker and I go here every couple of weeks to get out of the office and now I take my bf on my days off! It's such a hidden gem. It's all you can eat so you order on a paper card and as long as you eat it all, you're only charged one flat fee. Just order one or two things at a time. There seems to only be one waitress but she is on point. Occasionally you'll have to wait for a refill or the check, but the food is served fast and hot ( .. or cold, if it's .. raw fish). They have more than sushi. You can order hibachi and other things, too. The gyoza is the BEST ever. Soft on top and crispy on the bottom. Love the veggie tempura too. My favorite rolls here are the Garden Dream and Friend. It's not a flashy or fancy place. But it's perfect for a delicious, affordable, and VERY filling meal when you're craving sushi or hibachi. And tip that waitress well. She works hard!!

Upon walking in, the place appears unkempt. I like that the tables are spaced apart. Only one waitress during lunch hours that bounced between all tables and tried to keep up with orders. Food took forever to come out, but overall the sushi was good and the ayce option is reasonably priced. My only complaints are the garden dream roll was all batter, the chicken teriyaki was dry and the boston roll looked weird.

Sushi was SO fresh, I could smell it across the table. Hubby loved everything & wants to come back. I'm not big on sushi so I'm rating the appetizers I ate. It was ok. I didn't like that my shrimp tempura roll was wrapped in seaweed and had lettuce in it. The calamari was chewy, over cooked. The beef was way over well done. The chicken was dry. Not a spot for me but hubby really enjoyed many plates of multiple kinds of sushi. All you can eat for $25.

I've been ordering from Sushi Masa since they opened and I got their flyer in my door. Until then, no one around delivered sushi. SINCE then, every order has been extremely plentiful, fresh, exquisite tasting and delivered fast! My number 1 go to for sushi plus they offer in house, AYCE sushi at a fabulous price!
