Love that theres two different sides. The chophouse side is an awesome date night or celebratory dinner type of vibe. The lounge area is really relaxed with a menu that offers cheaper options if youre looking for a quick bite and great drinks. So far all of the staff has been amazng and the food is always on point. You get what you pay for for sure!

10/10 this place was wonderful, me and my husband stumbled across a add on Facebook advertising and decided to make a date night of it. From beginning to the end we received the warmest welcome and royal like service. From the bartender, to the waiter, to the manager coming over to our table to personally thank us for coming in as well as making sure each item coming to our table was top notch. Every employee we encountered was so knowledgeable of their menu as well as the back ground of the restaurant. The bar tender is by far the best we have experienced at any high end restaurant in Hampton roads, and to find out she has only been with the company for two weeks. We came in for a nice day night and felt like family by the time we left. 10’s across the board. A must try for anyone seeking wonderful service and even better food.

Family decided to take me here for my 39th BDAY… first impression was great! Atmosphere well done. Service great … Family tried the RAVIOLI , Australian Wagyu Strip , the 30 day Aged Ribeye, and the FAMOUS A5 Wagyu (195$).. A5 wagyu was shown prior to cooking (which was great) .. Every bite was worth the price …. Highly recommend !

We came to Prime 54 for our 36th anniversary. From the moment we stepped in to the restaurant, the service was spectacular! Alfonso was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. After Saganski for starters, we both ordered steaks. Hubby likes his medium rare. I prefer mine medium, which is hard to do; however Prime 54 delivered the most delicious Wagyu steak for me and a perfect ribeye for him. If you want an upscale restaurant in the Red Mill area, Prime 54 is the place!

We had an incredible experience at Prime 54. Started with the amazing Shrimp Crostini followed by perfectly grilled crab cakes with just the right amount of bread to crab. The prime lasagna was out of this world! And the cheesecake was a perfect dessert for our anniversary celebration. Our server Alfonso was fantastic and the Manager Butch made our experience special. Bravo Prime 54. The staff were welcoming and lovely to talk to. Ashlyn, Alfonso and our old friend Butch were wonderful.

Had an incredible cocktail experience at Prime 54 Chophouse & Lounge. Tried two smoked cocktails: the Revolver—rich and bold with Bulleit Bourbon, Grind Coffee Liqueur, and smoked orange peel—and the Godfather, a smooth mix of chilled Balvenie Scotch and DiSaronno Amaretto. Both beautifully crafted and theatrically served.

Kudos to Ashlyn for awesomely crafted cocktails!

The restaurant we frequent when in Virginia Beach was closed on Sundays. Prime 54, a restaurant we’ve been wanting to try was open and we decided to give it a shot for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious. The Sea crab soup was a standout, and the steak was perfectly seasoned and tender. The attentive and friendly staff made our dining experience even better. I’ve added Prime 54 to my list of favorite restaurants and will highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.

First time visiting the area and chose Prime 54 for a nice dinner with my wife and son and his girlfriend. Very happy we did!
From the moment we walked in and were greeted cheerfully by the hostess, to the very friendly and attentive service by Skye, we had a great experience.
We had calamari and jalapeño poppers for appetizers. The poppers were not your standard frozen and breaded things. They were fresh jalapeño’s wrapped in prosciutto and stuffed with cream cheese. They were delicious!
For meals, two of us had the seafood risotto which came with 6 jumbo shrimp, approximately the same number of scallops (I forgot to count them before I ate most of them 😬) and a lot of crabmeat mixed in with the risotto.
My wife had the filet which was very tender and tasted delicious. My son had the catch of the day which was sea bass (forgot to take a pic of his dish) and he said it was delicious too.
Unfortunately, we were all too stuffed to have anything for dessert. 😜
If I lived in the area, I would definitely visit again!

5 Stars – A Fantastic Dining Experience!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and every recommendation they made was spot on. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can tell the ingredients were fresh and prepared with care.

We especially loved the fresh catch that comes with two sides and that perfectly cooked and seasoned. Hubby gave his thumbs up for his dry aged ribeye. The surprise is in the end when you order dessert. The ambiance was cozy but elegant, making it a perfect spot for both date nights and family dinners. We'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Really wanted to love this restaurant. Service was attentive, just a bit slow. After a few recommendations we decided on the Shank and scallops. The shank was a tender, flavorless piece of meat. The scallops were delicious and prepared perfectly. The truffle fries were the best side. The salads were meager. The cocktails were disappointing. After the nice presentation no flavor balance. My score is a 2.5 so will score 3. Sadly will not be going back. .

I have a very detailed review that I am unfortunately unable to post because of length.
We visited on a Saturday night at 7:00. The restaurant was empty. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary. My husband was served rotten fish ( consistent with other reviews). The filet in the oversized puff pastry in the Wellington was gray, beige and then pink; dry and unappetizing. Nothing looked like website photos. Food is very overpriced and barely edible! They are trying to salvage product at the expense of customers. They are presenting as a fine dining chophouse when our waitress could not open a bottle of wine and stated that at our table. We discussed our experience with the manager before we left. He admitted they are aware of their short comings and hopes they will make some changes. We suggested, start with training your staff to meet the advertised culture of the restaurant. He was indifferent and wished us a happy anniversary. We contacted the owner and she discredited our whole experience, disputed everything we said, but offered to get back to us. She never did. We reached back out after several days and was told they have been in the business for over 14 years and there is nothing they intend to do. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $!! . This was a special occasion that was so disappointing. There is soo much more to our experience. I will find somewhere to post it. I always wish business/ restaurant owners succes, as I know it's a difficult business, but these people do not deserve to take peoples hard earned $ with no regard. The nicely decorated, inviting atmosphere was empty and most likely will continue to fail under these practices and perspective. You will get better food and service at the Outback for a fraction of the cost! It was honestly one of the worst meals and experiences we've ever had. Update to add owner cussed me out and hung up on me.. accused me of extortion-classy.
