I went with a group of 6, they had one table big enough for us and could easily make other arrangements if another sized group came in. Every single thing we ordered was delicious, 4 of us ordered food to-go as well. Their caldo de res is sooooo good and is a huge portion. I personally ordered the steak fajitas, delicious. Surprisingly I really enjoyed the rice too. I got a pina agua Fresca, they don’t do free refills on those but it was good too!

Great real authetic Mexican restaurant with menudo, pozole, and lenguas, remodeled triple the size before, been going here for years, this place is where actual Mexicans eat lol

I spent $17.95 for a quarter of cup of rice with beans that smelled like throw up the meat has no flavor and a quarter cup of salad. Not good for business. I will never eat there again. This second time I was disappointed with there food.

We were in the area looking for lunch (Friday Aug 8 '25) and saw Jessy's I remembered a great place when I lived in East Beach so I was hoping it was the same owner.
The decor was awesome unfortunately there were multiple dirty tables. It was late lunch (around 130 but still busy) There was a large group of about 4 including a pregnant woman. They seemed really annoyed spoke to a woman who appeared to be the bartender and server and then left. I wondered how long they were waiting and thought they missed out bc the food at East Beach is the best so I bet it's great here
I was with a 4 year old and we started looking the menu to save time. The bartender/server was avoiding eye contact and I understood why she was completely swamped. After about seven minutes a woman from the kitchen came out and put a few items in the fridge I was thinking she would acknowledge us or at least clear some tables. She didn't - ok maybe she's busy in the back I don't know her job ..
The server/bartender was moving non stop running food getting checks etc. I could hear people complaining about how long it was taking to get the check. Finally after about 12 minutes of standing there another server came from the back. I'm thinking ok great here we go we'll get seated soon. Nope she disappeared. I have no idea what happened to her. I don't like to seat myself unless I'm not bc I've worked in the industry and I know that can throw everything off. Also about 1/3 of the tables were empty but not cleared.
More people left but nothing was cleared and we were not acknowledged. It was about 20 minutes. I would have never stayed so long but I really do love their food from the other location. Also the child I nanny loved the atmosphere and wanted to eat there
I thought about how long it would take to actually get our lunch if we could get a seat, we were hungry and I just couldn't wait anymore so we left
I'm not doing one star because of their other location the food is excellent there - I hope it's the same company it looked good in VB too
I blame the management to be clear - meaning whoever is above that bartender/server because she was slaying. I was a server and never had to work alone like that with so many tables - never mind take out and bar!!! I wanted to grab a bin and start bussing to help out. It also felt like she was in survival mode. I feel like most people even experienced would have cried and walked out.
Management - please give this woman a rise and hire more staff!!

Very very nice place. Very nice food. And very nice customer service. They are bilingual, in the food felt very authentic. I got video tacos and tacos de lengua. And they remind me of the food I can get back home in NY. Show me the prices for very fair. It's a great spot that wasn't busy when I went, so I was able to calm down and eat and relax. There is even a an ice cream shop inside so once you are done eating you can get a very nice treat. If you don't mind walking you can leave your car in that parking lot and walk down to Virginia Beach.

They have everything here! Tons of good food supported by their own attached butchery. It all looks and tastes very fresh. There are lots of delicious looking deserts and an entire ice cream bar to choose from. Not to mention a full drink menu, so there is truly something for everyone here. Great spot!
