The food, service, and atmosphere were top notch. Everything was great especially when assisted by team member Emma. She answered all our questions and when taking our orders and delivered quickly to our dine-in table. Facility is very clean and the food was super fresh. It was so good we had to visit twice in 2 days. Highly recommend trying this place out. Yummy! 😋 Thank you Emma!

Ordered the seasonal chicken pot pie and cranberry chicken salad sandwich at Oceanfront location ~1pm. Pie already sold out. (Note: Order early.) Sandwich was per usual. Bread had a lot of grain to meet daily requirements; outside the crust was crunchy - no toasting needed; inside was soft but dense enough to hold the salad. The salad had quite a bit of chicken, apple, cranberry of course and was quite TASTEy (see what I did there). Had to pick up the pot pie from the Hilltop location. (Btw, never seen so many blond women in one place.) This location too was running low on the pie. That speaks for itself. Recommend making both items available year round.

I have been to several Taste locations and the food and service was always great. However, the Pungo location was very rude to the point where I didn’t even order food. I was not greeted when I approached the counter and I stood there for over 5 minutes while one person held a personal conversation with a random man who was not ordering. No other customers were there and three other workers were behind the counter with their backs turned. At this point my group left. Needless to say, that was not acceptable.

Stopped in on the verge of a manic episode. Ordered The Inlet and the Cranberry Chicken Salad sandwiches. The quality is actually insane. Like, Panera could never. They were way bigger and more filling than I expected them to be, which made the high cost not feel as bad. Also, much cheaper than a stay at the psych ward, and probably more affective. Oh, and the assistant manager was super chill.

Really cute seaside sandwich shop. Got the Hilltop sandwich and the ingredients (turkey, bread sauce, and cheese) were super fresh. Wish the sandwich was a it larger for the price. Fountain beverages are all Boylon and the birch beer flavor is an excellent root beer. Meals came with a cookie that was the perfect level of gooey and soft.

I was in VB for three days and I came here twice. The sandwiches are so fresh and delicious. The portions are generous and the meal deal is a bargain. The bread especially was out of this world. 11/10, hope I can make it back.
Customer service in need of supervision and improvement. When a customer feels like the employee it’s time for a revamp. Order turned out not to be correct.

OMG the crab and corn chowder is to die for in the Mediterranean salmon bowl is amazing. Awsome food and customer service. This place is a few steps away from the beach making the location even better.

We saw someone on the beach eating a sandwich and it was from Taste,so we had to try it after looking at some of the reviews. It did not disappoint! We got the beach club and it was delicious. The bread was fresh and all the toppings as well. We will definitely be back on our next visit to VA Beach

My favorite sandwich shop ever. My whole family loved their sandwiches, and each of us found something we were obsessed with. We discovered this place on our first trip to Virginia Beach, and it’s hard not to eat there every single day. The fountain drinks, the meats, the flavors, the bread, everything is just perfect.
