I had the Mahi with rice. Mahi quality was mid but for 30$ it should have been high quality, rice was under seasoned. My spouses flounder was great. Obviously the oysters were great. Service was excellent. Overall alright just expected more for what I paid.

Tautog’s Restaurant has THE BEST Oyster Rockafeller that I have eaten 🦪😋The staff delivered excellent customer service. Tautog’s Restaurant has an amazing menu. If you re interested in an excellent casual coastal dining experience this is a must try ❣️

Terrible experience at Tautogs! The clams were full of sand, the tuna was improperly cooked, and my spouse never received her broccoli. The Moscow Mule was virtually undrinkable—lacking ice and requiring an entire lime to make it palatable. The service was appalling; our waiter disappeared, forcing me to ask the hostess to find him. For the prices they charge, this level of quality is absolutely unacceptable. I will not return!

Excellent crab dip and clams! Our waiter, Chris, was kind, attentive, cheerful, and knowledgeable. We only stopped in for appetizers (I took my two teens), but I’ll definitely be back for a full meal.

I had the Wedge salad, and it was a large portion and good. My daughter had the salmon salad, which had a large, perfectly cooked salmon. We tried the brussel sprouts bacon soup, and it was full of vegetables and flavorful. Service and atmosphere are also very nice. We look forward to our next visit to Tautogs!

I really enjoy the scallops barca, very delicious and interesting.
Take note, if you opt for the broccoli replacement side, it's just a head of steamed broccoli. Pretty good, maybe a little challenging to cut. The potato side has Old Bay, if that is not for you then do avoid.
Think they may not have had all the help needed for the season just yet; it was challenging to get our check once we were ready to go.
All things considered, we still plan to come back! But may sit inside, service seemed a little better in there.

The seafood was exceptional. Ordered Benny & Rockefeller oysters & the ginger teriyaki salmon with broccoli. Each was very fresh and flavorful...to the last bite. Gentlemen behind the bar, Rob & Steve were engaging and enjoyable to dine with. Tautog's does it right and deserves a return.
