My experience with Teriyaki Madness in Cape Girardeau has been good. We are a gluten free family. Not by choice but by medical need. Teriyaki madness is one place I can go to grab something. The staff has listened well to my order and have been understanding of the need for my meal to be GF. They even have GF marked on the menu.

Crab rangoons were some of the best ive had! My friend has celiac and this place hooked her up with gluten free food. They were amazing at making sure she was safe. Plus it was tasty, no complaints!

Place was busy with people waiting on orders, so I was hopeful the food would be good. Tried the orange chicken. It was flavorful but completely soggy. I expected it to be crunchy like most orange chicken dishes, but it was just soggy, coated chicken mixed in orange sauce. Disappointed to say the least. I hope that is not how it’s supposed to be, and this was not just a one off.

Seriously we spent about $55 and none of us enjoyed our food! It pretty much went in the trash. I recently had surgery and didn't wanna cook.
So I ordered online and had my husband pick up our food. We'll NEVER be returning. We enjoyed it when it first opened then the food went down hill. Thought why not give it another chance and we wish we wouldn't of!
The rice was very under cooked, the chicken had fatty pieces on it and when I took the first bite it was hard. Crab ragoons tasted like mush, and my cabbage was hard.
Everyone is better off going to Panda Express at least their food is fresh, hot and good!

Y'all might wanna hire another cook or retrain the cooking staff.
This was at the location near Landstown in Virginia Beach.

I’ve eaten at several Terriyaki Maddness locations and never had an issue until today. It was gross. Just gross. The chicken and broccoli were perfectly cooked, but they dumped about a cup of water and sauce in it! It was SOUP. Disgusting. U could not taste the chicken, rice, or broccoli. It ruined my meal. It would have been great if they didn’t make it rice soup. I couldn’t even eat the rice. It was a mushy mess. The only flavor was salty sauce, which was a bit watery. Every when eating the chicken potstickers, all I could still taste was the sauce as it stuck around. It was very salty, too. See pics. I have zero desire to return to a Teriyaki Madness after this visit. I lowered the score for atmosphere bc the staff were standing around the kitchen area chatting and the tables were almost all dirty with sauce and sticky stuff. They were not cleaned. Somehow my food was done within about 3-4 mins. I ordered it as I turned off Dam Neck are and into the plaza. I parked and walked in, yet somehow it was already done, packaged, and sitting in the hot box for pickup. No way was it made fresh. I couldn’t tell since it was soup, not a Teriyaki chicken a rice and broccoli stir fry. It was not worth the $20+ I spent for my lunch. I would not return based on this visit.

This is your normal fast food Asian restaurant nestes in a busy shopping center. A lot of folks do the order ahead. The kitchen is constantly cooking and therefore, fresh.

The staff are very friendly and patient.

IMO this is one of the better Asian food offerings in Virginia Beach. I love that vegetables are apart of the dish. The seasoning and sauces are on point. Overall the food is great although there have been times when the dishes were a little off (lack enough vegetables, rice bland or gummy). I enjoy their grilled meats much better than the coated meats. Overall, I recommend that you try for yourself if you’re looking for a flavor explosion. Pricing makes it an occasional treat for me.

My hubby & I were wandering by after grabbing smoothies and a young lady passed us & recommended we stop in for the spicy chicken. So we did! Turns out she works there lol and she was right on time. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. We enjoyed the salmon and spicy chicken 😋 even got my hubby to try edamame. We'll definitely be back for lunch soon!

I came in on Sunday around 7pm and Alaina was pleasant as always, I have come in a few times and at this point she has almost fully memorized my order. She is always so sweet and welcoming, I love coming in and having her take my order! While my experience is always positive with Alaina, there was a young woman with red hair in the kitchen wearing brightly colored croc shoes. I found this to be worrying because, having worked in food service, I have seen many previous coworkers get injured from wearing improper work attire. Even though this worried me, I still had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend eating at Teriyaki Madness.
