Served my food cold! Shrimp was cold how is that not a health hazard? On top of that the waiter didnt even bring my appetizer out or give us silverware and then when we said something gave us dirty utensils! Will never come back here again!

My server was great. But my food was awful. I didn't even say anything to my server. She didn't prepare it. But this broke me of going out to eat again for quite a while. Shame you pay that much for a leather like steak. Waited over an hour for the food. I'm very understanding of a busy restaurant. But to say I'm disappointed is an under statement. I'd considered coming back for my 40th birthday in a few weeks at the beginning of our visit.
I'll either go to the Mexican place or just cook at home myself.

The best thing at this place is the bread. I ordered to go with just bread and sweet tea. The bread was burnt, dry and hard. My tea was unsweet. How do you get such a simple order completely wrong? Service is rude and unfriendly. It’s a franchise so can only do or say so much but what would really change?

3/11/25 - I can't remember the last time I came here but I went recently and enjoyed it. The place was pretty busy and surprised to see how big the place really is. The table provides a bag of peanuts and you also get rolls with cinnamon butter that are so delicious. I feel the pricing is much cheaper than other places for steak. I wasn't too fond of my dish which was the country fried sirloin. I got the veggie and Caesar salad for my sides. Caesar salad was dressed really good. I wasn't too impressed with the sirloin being fried and the veggies didn't have much seasoning. The gravy was also okay. I did enjoy someone else's dish, which was the t-bone steak and the sweet potato as a side. The t-bone was sauced with onions and had great flavor. My husband steak didn't come out right twice and the third time they finally got it. They were nice to compt his meal due to the delayed. We also got the shrimp appetizer which was really good. Our server was super nice and great too. Again I feel you can't beat the price and the food is pretty decent.

The true thing that ruined this for me personally, was the painfully long wait time (one hour for four plates, and a table that had six AND sat down before ours got their food first,) a snarky waitress, and the fact they didn't even bring the bread until an hour into waiting! Other than that, it's decent.

DONE straight DONE with this place!!! Service has gone to hell, 4 out of the last 5 times they have over cooked my steak. but tonight, our waitress was horrible. order tater skins as an appetizer never received it. That’s after she said she was gonna bring it to us. other wait staff did her job for her! She got us drinks and regular butter for the rolls. Ordered medium rare steaks and got well done! I don’t know what happened to this place, but it is horrible! Not to mention that sitting there waiting for a hour for a table. But sat there and watched employee's push their friends to the front of the line. So thanks for making people feel unwelcome and uncared for!!!

15-20 min wait when there are SO MANY TABLES FREE is crazy.. we pay good money to eat here. There is no need to have so many tables blocked off. I have a back condition and the fact I stood for this long already was upsetting. Now the doors getting backed up because everybody is on the waitlist. TWO elders come in and are told 20 minutes. Both with CANES. It's upsetting.

They lied and said we didn’t check in just to get us to wait longer but we did check in and but they somehow knew the number we used to check in and how many people there were. Then they said there would still be a wait time but there were several empty tables but they made us wait 20 more minutes. It took 15 minutes to get our appetizers and when we did get them the cheese was hard and the fried pickles was cold. When we got our actual food it was disgusting cokd and dry with no taste I wouldn’t go to this Texas road house.

The hostess didn't bother to ask if we wanted a table or booth. That's part of her job! I have 11 herniated discs in my back and I cannot do a booth!!! My salad came without tomatoes because apparently someone shirked their responsibility of ordering. What piss poor management!!! It's sad!!!

On March 04, SECEP had a fundraiser with Texas Roadhouse at Independence Blvd. Everything appeared to be going great. The SECEP staff followed all directions from the TR staff and there was quite a turnout of folks to support SECEP. The food, wait staff and the atmosphere were great. At about 6pm, the shift manager came out and began screaming that SECEP had broken the contract by bribing incoming customers with a SECEP key chain and that TR would not pay SECEP the 10% for the fundraiser. After SECEP talked with the store manager, TR said they would pay SECEP $100 for the night. Based on some rough calculations and the amount of people I personally saw coming to TR to support SECEP, the pay would have been about $250. I will never support TR again with my patronage and I recommend that you find another steak house for your night out

The taste is okay
They Screwed up my father in laws order, by smothering oions and mushrooms on his steak when he asked for no onions, and brought it out also not medium rare. Also the service was a little slow granted it was busy but still it took them like 20 minutes to bring out his bear both times.
