Jason the bartender was A1! Service was amazing. Food was scrumptious and the ambiance was prefect for our date night. This definitely is one of our top 3 pick.

My family and I celebrated my dad's birthday and we couldn't recommend this place more! From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming and kind!

Huge shout out to our server Kensy, who was consistently attentive, friendly, and made sure we had the best time. And, another shout out to Amanda, the bartender who created a drink for me since I wasn't too sure what I wanted. She even wrote the recipe down for me!

The customer service here is top tier! We will be coming back, especially with the amazing service Kensy and Amanda provided!

Fell very short of expectations. I could have gotten a better steak at 20 other restaurants around town at half the price. The ribeye was tough, and served with butter knives? We all had to specifically ask for steak knives, at a steakhouse :•| several people in our group received burnt steak. Not just overcooked, burnt. One was the birthday guest and was a $75 bone in rib-eye! Very long wait for food and for drinks. Tables were wobbly, and too small for our group. We felt very constricted at our table. If you’re gonna expect people to shell out over $100 per person, you best get your act together.

Me and my family gathered there for my granddaughter 19th birthday party. Food was so delicious. Service was out of this world. Everyone was so kind and attentive. Kudos to everybody that participated. I recommend to anybody who is in the Virginia Beach area

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Butcher’s Son Chop House, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a memorable evening.

The menu offers a fantastic selection of expertly prepared cuts of meat, cooked to perfection. I opted for the ribeye, which was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The sides were equally impressive

Service was impeccable; our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent wine pairing suggestions.

Overall, The Butcher’s Son Chop House exceeded all expectations. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just in the mood for an outstanding meal, this is the place to go. We will definitely be returning soon!

My husband and I came for the restaurant week specials. Josh (behind the bar) was AMAZING. He was attentive, patient, and so friendly.

All of our food was amazing but our highlight was the chocolate and cranberry bread pudding a la mode. It was delicious and so were our drinks. The ambiance was clean and romantic. Definitely recommend making a reservation as they get busy quickly.

Best steak I’ve had in Virginia Beach! The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. The wait staff and bartenders are very professional and courteous. The smoked old fashioned is the one to ask for!

Fantastic. I had the Brian’s classic. Steak was perfect. Shrimp cocktails are excellent as well. Worth every penny.

I treated myself to dinner at the bar and I’m so glad I did! The service was phenomenal. My steak was a perfectly cooked medium rare and the brussels were delicious! Great atmosphere and drinks. I will definitely be back!

It bothers me that I don’t have something negative to say about this place. I believe there’s always room to improve but last night they were ready for everyone.
Attention, music, restaurant temperature, lighting, food…….. THE FOOD. Waitress was so on point, she killed it “good job”
