The wife and I were at the hospital for the purposes of child labor, aka birth. When she worked her way back from ice chips and chicken broth and past the saltines and chips to her first main course in a day she wanted a cheeseburger at midnight. It was a great price for a really solid cheeseburger and some excellent curly fry wedges. I got a chicken bacon ranch sandwich with pesto which was nothing short of perfection. We'll be back for more.

This is friends' favourite place to go out and I loved it too. A great selection of drinks, including ciders, and delicious food. We'll definitely be back!Vegetarian options: There were a few veggie options but nothing marked specifically that it was vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: There were lots of children inside.

When you walk in it looks great and friendly atmosphere.I went here with my wife and two kids. Got there around 7, it was busy but not packed. We ordered cheese fries, 2 burgers, tuna bites, and crab cake.It took around 40 minutes to get the tuna bites, around 50 minutes to get one of the two burgers (exact same burger except one was no onions) after about 70 minutes we asked for a refund for the cheese fries, one burger, and crab cake.I thought it was going to be a good place but honesty they just were very slow and it didn’t even make sense on how orders came out. You’d think a whole table would get the food together, but no and even then we received one of the burgers and not the other which I don’t understand. The burger had a piece of the parchment that I’m guessing they use to separate them when prepping.Overall, I would not go here again. It seems like it’s mostly a drink place and if you’re looking to eat food this is not the place for you. They did end up refunding the 3 items we didn’t receive. I would’ve appreciated maybe some sort of apologize or explanation. Instead it seemed more like the host blamed us for not wanting to wait over 90 min for a burger, crab cake, and cheese fries.Going back and reading some of the other reviews I think it’s probable that the burgers are frozen burger patties. It tasted not great which also makes sense why there was a parchment paper still attached. I think there has to be a bunch of fake reviews. I just don’t see how there are so many and rated well… like I’m just pissed I wasted a perfectly good night at this establishment to literally not eat lol. Burger at McDonald’s would taste better and cost less and you’d get it in 5 min vice 50 or not at all
Friendliest bottle shop, bar, and restaurant in Virginia Beach. They know their beer but aren't snobby about it. Food is on point and beer selection both draft and packaged is amazing!

Failed to order anything to eat or drink because of the chaotic ordering process. Fortunately, there are other options nearby.As follow up to the owner's response, I went to one register and was told there was a line (at the other register), so I moved to that line. The two couples in line were not ready, so one guy jumped in front and ordered. Meanwhile, other people walked up to the other register and ordered straight away. Meanwhile, the couples in front of me continued to ask for samples, while another couple came and again ordered right away at the first register. So, definitely chaotic.I have been to many other breweries and restaurants all over the area and the country and have never had this experience. The owner's sarcastic dismissal of my experience is telling.
