Great food and a wonderful staff.

Placed an order to go. Asked for extra sauce. Got home and the sauce was just watery. No sauce would stick to the food, it all just ran off. Food is usually pretty good, but it was a waste of 20.00 some dollars.

$98 dollars wasted delivery food was inedible,, Smokey tastes of ribs which I would have they would be Chinese ribs , weird taste on rice and main course, never again !!

Excellent food and service. Tables need a little work, uneven and wobbly, but everything else made up for it.

Ordered chicken wings I got party wings, shrimp roll was smaller than a lumpia roll, shrimp fried rice was ok.

This is the second time I have tried this place. The first was not good but based on reviews I thought maybe it was an off day so I gave it another shot. I ordered take out. My first point of issue was on the phone.. while trying to place my order the lady was yelling out and talking to others interrupting me and not listening and then seemed annoyed with ME because she didn't hear what I said because she wasn't giving the call any attention. She told me 20 mins and I was there in 10 and the food was ready just after I got there and I had a very short drive home - everything was COLD. The crab ragoons were nasty and super soggy! The beef and broccoli was terrible - the sauce is like a super slimy beef gravy of some sort and the broccoli to beef balance was way too heavy on broccoli causing the whole dish to have a bitter flavor. I'm disappointed because I really was hoping for a better experience this time. Maybe it's different dining in over takeout. It was also quite pricey for what I got! I am more than happy to pay for good food but it sucks to spend $40 on a one person meal and not be able to eat it let alone enjoy it.

Best Chinese food in Hampton Roads. Consistently good for the past 20 years.

The place looks decent enough and our waitress was great but I was not impressed with the food for the prices they charge. I got beef and broccoli and it was very slimy and greasy. My daughter got shrimp lo mein and did not like it either. The white tablecloths were stained and dirty looking. We love asian food and have had MUCH better. I do not plan on returning.

I can't emphasize enough how wonderful our experience was at The Imperial Palace. The combination of superb service, an inviting atmosphere, and exceptional food makes it a must-visit for anyone who loves Chinese cuisine.
