The food was excellent. They need a sign out front letting people know the restaurant is inside the country club. It was hard to find but the smoked brisket was worth it.

My first time eating at the Pig Shop while visiting from California. I ordered the the Saturday lunch special $13.99 I ordered the brisket and ribs with 2 sides - Mac and Cheese and Coleslaw. Sweet tea I could of went half and half a bit too much sugar. Anyways the brisket and ribs were outstanding! Staff is friendly and the place is nice to eat in. Will come back next time in Chesapeake Ava.

This is a clubhouse restaurant at a golf course. While I do write reviews as a hobby, I don't just hand out 5 star reviews without any thought. I also don't have any affiliation with VB National golf course or The Pig Shop Bar & Grill. Now, I always try to manage my expectations when eating anywhere and my decision to eat at a golf course was no different. We were at VB National for a round of golf, we were hungry, and our tee time wasn't for another 45 minutes. So, it was an easy decision to slide over and grab a quick bite. I won't speak for anyone else in my party, but I think they would agree with me when I say that I was pleasantly surprised!The menu for The Pig Shop Bar & Grill was way more than I expected. The options were great no matter if you wanted a meal or just a snack. I actually had a hard time deciding what to get because they had a lot of good sounding offerings. The Bar Tender/Server was friendly and had a great attitude. She took excellent care of our table..No, we hadn't been drinking. Lol! We decided to get some lumpia as an appetizer and I got a grilled chicken club and fries for my main meal. The ingredients seemed fresh and it was all well prepared. The other meals looked equally excellent! I'll be going back the next time I play.I definitely recommend it and VB National if you're in the area and looking for good place to play golf and want to grab a quick, convenient, and great tasting meal or even just a snack.

Please don’t order from here. They forgot things I ordered. My sides and dessert. The Mac and cheese was sour. The brisket was 90 percent fat. Awful food. I feel sick already. The person answering the phone is rude. Why does it all taste like vinegar!!??

Dried out shoe leather would taste better than what I paid $65 to eat! Old, overcooked, dried out, cold and half of what I was served as brisket was a slab of fat! This was the absolute worst meal I have eaten! Do not bother!!
Wanted to try a new place to eat bad have a few drinks with some friends. Went here and the food was amazing. The young lady Courtney that assisted us was awesome. I will make this my go to place from now on.

Tried to place a takeout order, phone number listed it not working. Called the Indian river location and they seemed confused if they had a Shore drive location. Then told me to call Chico's and that the Shore Dr. location didn't have the same products. Place my order with in I.R.location. Very good Bar-b-que, not sure worth the drive. SMH

Absolutely horrible. Greasy grey brisket, ribs were dry, & the most god awful mac & cheese I've ever tasted. How does Mac & cheese taste like vinegar??!!!! The cinnamon apple is just apple sauce with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Hushpuppies were decent though. Definitely do NOT recommend, we all got sick after eating this.

Drove by and almost missed the place! Glad we turned around. Service was quick, servers friendly, bbq and brisket were tasty and fresh. Greens and beans also very good. Reasonable prices. Inside and outdoor seating available. We ate in, tables distanced and all clean inside. Hush puppies are excellent too. They have daily specials which we are definitely gonna try in the future.
